Vegas BCA Meet and Greet at The FURY SKY BOX!

When I get in tomorrow, I will talk to John (onepocketchump) at The FURY Booth and figure out when will be the best time to set times that all can meet up. I will have times posted here, and also at The Booth.

Watchez.... I have terrible news! They shut down the all you can eat buffet and turned it into the Riv BBQ joint! So, looks like I will never be able to prove it wasn't as bad as you though:( Katys is now open 24/7. The food is awful there. Nickel town is now penny town. ;)

Lot's of changes here this year. The BIG slot machine in the $20 for $40. is gone. No more free pulls... No coupon books anywhere in sight on premises, nothing. If you are coming or are here already, there is a stand where you can get a coupon for a free shirt (like the black ones the employees are wearing) by showing your BCA card and bringing it to the Players Card Booth. In addition, they will give you $10.00 worth of free play on the slots.

There is slot tournament 5 times a day. You can get free entries at the players card booth.

There are non stop mini tournaments. Loads of action and more.

I am headed down to the tournament area in a few and will post times for the meet and greets soon. You can find me in The FURY Booth upstirs and in addition, FURY has another booth located in the second tournament room on the ground floor.

Seen Linda Carter awhile ago. She looks GREAT!

The only change I could see is that they took out the Burger King and put in a KFC/A&W place. The rest is the same!

Please help does anyone know when the women's event player's meeting is? I've been so busy i didn't even think about that part of the equation. I won't be there until 10:00 pm tomorrow night!
 
If I am not mistaken, the women's event starts in the morning:confused: So, if this is what you are looking for, you may forfit if you are not here.
 
just so everyone knows..our weather forecast says that tuesday will be 103, first triple digit of the year......followed by a week of triple digits(104). it's gonna be hot...LOL

How about the smoking? In the hall only?

I guess ill still bring one long sleeve shirt just in case the AC gets crazy.

I am freezing here! Bring the long sleeves for inside. Hot outside - hits you like a hammer as soon as you walk out the door.

Smoking - not supposed to smoke in the hall at all, although I have seen/smelled them there. One person was lighting up right under a huge no smoking sign, lol.

There is a designated spot and outside, of course.

And Eydie, you looked great!!!!

Thanks Linda- Not what i was hoping to hear though.

There is just so much you can put in a carry-on-I was hoping to not worry about LS. Plus- Now ill have to trek the mile from my hotel sweating bullets or carrying an extra shirt somewhere. Life is just getting too tough for
me. :)
 
We are all having a great time here. So many wonderful people, and so much to do.

I had planned to have a time for the Fury meet and greet, but I have been working and been in meetings most of the day.

Going to try and set something up for the beginning of the week, late in the evening so that all including the vendors can participate.

Had the pleasure of spending a lot of time with Linda Carter today. She is just wonderful and a pleasure to spend time with! A real class act!

All in all, this has been a great experience that all should attend yearly here!

It was great fun to meet Vagabond and Breakup. I have yet to meet SJM and John, but I intend to before the week is over. I look forward to participating in the get together.

How late are you guys up there? I stopped in at like 10:00 last night and there was only 3 people there and, as soon as I walked in, one of the guys who was there said, "we're closed".
