Has there been an announcement yet with any details regarding the 3C World Cup event listed on the UMB calendar for next April? Curious if I missed it. Nice to see an event back here in the US.

The dates are April 4-10, but whether it happens will depend on whether a hotel and sponsors can be found. As with many things, it depends mostly on money. The required added money for a WorldCup is about $50,000, plus there are travel and lodging expenses.
Thanks. By hotel, are you meaning a place to stage the event at? I was just assuming it would be held at that new room Best Billiards LV. Hope they can put together the funding.
The room has almost no room for spectators, by major tournament standards -- imagine 400 people trying to watch the final match. Also, it would be pretty hard to do broadcast-quality TV from the room.

Yes we are going to do the World Cup 3C at Best Billiards lv.
The pre Qualify and Qualify will be held at Best Billiards lv, and the Finals will be held at a Casino to be named later. Yes we are looking for more sponsership to help with all costs. We should not have any problems with finding sponserships or a Casino since the responses have been many and we are evaluating the best offers.

The hotel and funding are coming together much faster than I expected. It looks like the hotel is going to be much nicer than for the previous three Las Vegas WorldCups. Ermanno has some amazing contacts.
