VEPP online video clips

FYI, the deal below is still being offered to AZB users through the end of this month (2/29/12).

Bob and I were also still hoping to get more feedback from people who have viewed the DVDs by now. So please post your reviews ... positive or negative.

Thanks,
Dave

Well, I'll say this, I dont know of a more complete resource for an inexperienced player. It's a fantastic compolitaion of information all in one location....

As for the VEPP series.. I was fortunate enough to be able to take advantage of this special. I am only about half way through the first video thus far. Admittedly I had probably seen most of the drills this far in the video online, from their website, or youtube or whever.
It has pushed me to get the little white donuts and have quite a few on my table now.

Here is my question........ Should I try to push through the video (s) even though I may not have a section mastered, or should I try to master (9 out of 10 times) a handfull of drills before I move forward through the collection. Rather than putting in the DVD and continuing on, I usually just find myself running the drills from the donuts on the table. I'm really in no hurry to rush through it. Just trying to get the most out of it before I hurredly pass something up and miss something.

Just trying to soak it all in while speed this process of becoming an above average player up as much as possible. I understand this takes years and years. You see this in most accomplished players. They've been playing for 20+ years..... I have gotten a very late start and probably have only under six months of playing time. Looking for any tool or knowledge i can find, and playing as much as I can. I'm able to get on my table at least for a little while just about every single day. Some days for hours.

Again, I'm thankful for the resourse. I think you guys have done a fantastic job with the compilation of information on the video's as well as your web sites.

I'd recommend watching all of the DVDs straight through once, maybe taking notes of the drill and rating-tool numbers you know you might need or want to work on. Then you can go back and focus on the things you think will help you the most. It sounds like you might benefit most from the stuff on the first disc. We also have some advice on how to use VEPP effectively here:

... Looking for any tool or knowledge i can find
If you don't have VEPS yet, you might like it. It provides a wealth of tools, tips, systems, knowledge, "secrets," "gems," etc.

... and playing as much as I can.
This is the best thing you can do ... practice and get as much table time in as possible to continue to build the 10,000 hours of experience required for excellence.

Again, I'm thankful for the resourse. I think you guys have done a fantastic job with the compilation of information on the video's as well as your web sites.
Thanks again for the positive feedback. If you have additional feedback or questions are viewing the remaining DVDs in the set, please let us know.

Regards,
Dave

I just got the following message from an AZB'er:

Dave,
Last year I was able to take advantage of the sale you ran on VEPS for 25% off. You announced the sale on AZB, I then coordinated with another member and we both purchased using Paypal and split the 50% 2nd set discount.

Since your pre-orders are all filled by now, seems like a good time to run the same sale on VEPP! I'm in for the deal if it's able to be structured the same way.

Good idea! Here's the same promotion we had offered for VEPS:

As a special thanks to those who have already ordered the entire Video Encyclopedia of Pool Practice (VEPP) set, for a limited time (through the end of February, 2012), we are offering a 50% discount to AZB'ers for an additional set purchase. If you want to order a second set for a friend or family member (e.g., as a birthday gift), just place the order on the website and send me a PM or an e-mail asking for your discount. The 50% refund will be issued through PayPal, provided this is your second full-set purchase. Here's the ordering page.

Feel free to use the offer creatively, as some AZB'ers have done in the past.

Also, does anybody else have any feedback or reviews after viewing and working with the VEPP DVDs and online resources? Bob and I look forward to hearing how others perceive our new stuff.
