FYI, the deal below is still being offered to AZB users through the end of this month (2/29/12).
Bob and I were also still hoping to get more feedback from people who have viewed the DVDs by now. So please post your reviews ... positive or negative.
Thanks,
Dave
Well, I'll say this, I dont know of a more complete resource for an inexperienced player. It's a fantastic compolitaion of information all in one location....
As for the VEPP series.. I was fortunate enough to be able to take advantage of this special. I am only about half way through the first video thus far. Admittedly I had probably seen most of the drills this far in the video online, from their website, or youtube or whever.
It has pushed me to get the little white donuts and have quite a few on my table now.
Here is my question........ Should I try to push through the video (s) even though I may not have a section mastered, or should I try to master (9 out of 10 times) a handfull of drills before I move forward through the collection. Rather than putting in the DVD and continuing on, I usually just find myself running the drills from the donuts on the table. I'm really in no hurry to rush through it. Just trying to get the most out of it before I hurredly pass something up and miss something.
Just trying to soak it all in while speed this process of becoming an above average player up as much as possible. I understand this takes years and years. You see this in most accomplished players. They've been playing for 20+ years..... I have gotten a very late start and probably have only under six months of playing time. Looking for any tool or knowledge i can find, and playing as much as I can. I'm able to get on my table at least for a little while just about every single day. Some days for hours.
Again, I'm thankful for the resourse. I think you guys have done a fantastic job with the compilation of information on the video's as well as your web sites.
