Very interesting things to know how one German cuemaker handls with other peoples cue

The closest I can go is to say that Vollmer and CEM are not that one.So,someone else is.

I think this should be enough to know where you could send your cues easily with no any fear of more damages on them,at least regards to me.
Yes,people should be aware more but not just purchasing with cuemakers but with some other guys who did bad deals in the past and the facts were in public,but still they have 100% Itraders.When I figure that out a long with some order things that I cannot understand I might think about let people know about all my bad deals I had doing business with many well known and very well reputable cuemakers regardless the fact that the most of you who are here for years already knew that.

I didn't know that you attended to send some cues for refinishing overseas?!
You should be happy that you are getting information and knowledgeable advice that your cues would be better handled in States than in Europe.Tradition of making cues there is much longer than here so people and cue makers are more experienced as well.Beside that if you really have the need to send something over here I think that the two names I gave should be enough.With those two I have never had any experience at all.What I can hear they do great job but that's only I know.So between all that great cuemakers you have there I really don't see any need to send something here unless you are exibicionist.
Regarding the character,I could blame many of guys I dealt with and tell all bad things that happend to me doing business with them,so suppose then my character would be appreciating much more here.Beside this,I wanted to let you know that I am receiving many messages in which is said that if I tell them the name of the cuemaker that will stay only between two of us,but I had good experiences with that as well.So far in 70% cases they went in public what I told them in secret.
However,there are some nice guys here too,that were always giving the best to satisfy the other part.And it is great to have them here in a forum.
Also, I saw many times here when someone tells the facts how he was scammed by someone well known and maybe reputable here,he get even more assaults from those who had good experience with that particular guy or even from those who doesn't know anyone.Also he very soon starts to be attached from others who are dealers of his cues or from guys who are just sell them but are not dealers,and from those who hasn't their own life and always wanted to be opposite of others.So,in most of occasions you loose anyway.You don't get what did you pay for and beside that you get more offends by those others.
But,for all those in States who will send their cues overseas for refinishing to increase their expenses,please feel free to contact me with the name of the cuemaker whom you send your cue and I'll provide them with information,for free,of course,is this my guy or it isn't.So,this way they will know everything that matters and be free of making Sauerkraut of their cues by someone.

Sorry, i thnk this is bs... I know some guys, myself included, that bought New Cues from US and gave it directly to Cem Cues for New Finish......
 
One more note,
What about the PHRASE that has been said and seen many times here,that I should try fix the problem with the cue maker first and then go to public,although many of them who had same problems tried to find the solution with cue maker first but with not any success.
Then,everyone start to blame him and come at the cue maker sides just because they want to be closer with the cue maker and not with some regular guy,how they could get cues they want faster and easier and cheaper,of course.
So,I tried to resolve the problem with the cue maker and after I see this is going nowhere,I posted this famous title on AZ,and then suddenly my problems have been quickly fixed and resolved.I get 500$ a long with expenses for refinishing the cue by one great and very well known and respected American cue maker.So,my problems have been resolved what was my primary intention at the first place.Beside that I didn't put a blame on anyone and beside that too I provided you all with some informative notes in good will and information as well that surely could help you and to put you on the right direction.
My purpose on posting this was try to get what I paid for but luckily I get even more,and from what I think the main purpose for everyone at posting such treats in forum should be try to get what you paid for and what was dealt with cue maker,and not to put a blame on people in public even if they did a lousy job.

Maik was right what he are saying, you don't know how many Cues came brand new from US with a very very bad finish that was NOT acceptable.
Cem and Vollmer are defently the BEST in Germany.

That's true,but you know the most of them and had many experiences in the past with them as well,so you know what you can expect from each one.However,the most of Americans don't have many contacts with European cue makers and only few of them really know their work.
So,I agree fully that a worse job on cues could happen in States as well but at least you have some cue makers in whom you could believe fully with no worry at all that the cue when comes back from him would be top notch and looks new or even better.Some,very few,but still some would never let the cue leave their shop until they are fully satisfied.

He used AZ as leverage to get his cash.That must be why the 24 hour delay so the cue maker would have time to pay up or else.A cowardly way to act while also jeopardizing the character of all German cue makers.
 
Yes,thanks on great and wise advices you have.It should be done differently.I should leave my cue in garbage condition that costed me a lot of money and pay again for shipping and refinishing what would cost me more 600 $ at least with my import taxes to my customs plus it would take me more time to be without my cue but you would know the name of the cue maker and all of those who have nothing more important and nothing more clever to do would be happy and hilarious as babies.And then I would get all those messages from all over and from the same people that I should try fix my problem with the cuemaker first.

So should we be worried that this person would screw someone else over? What was the problem with your cue, was it the original makers fault and the repair guy regretted even getting into it?

This thread really served no purpose except to extort the money you needed to "protect" someones reputation.

Maybe there is a language barrier I am not seeing...so far you seem like a real piece of shit, but it's Friday and I have been known to be wrong on Fridays before...so if I am I apologize in advance. If I am not EAD OP.

Your getting the 'bad cuemaker' to give you back your $500 the way you did does not bother me, at all.

But after getting your money back and not following through to warn people about this 'bad cuemaker', that does bother me.

The $500 was supposed to represent making your deal right.

Not 'be-quiet' money (even if that's what the 'bad cuemaker' thought).

You are *always* supposed to be able to openly discuss how people have treated you in a deal, good or bad.

Getting your money back should not change that.

You are now calling your own character into question.

As I said I have never delt to CEM cues niether I did business to Vollmer as well,so unless you don't send your cues to all others you should feel comfortable.Anyway,why would you send your cues to others when you have these that are very well respected???Unless you are an adventurist!!!???

Business is private matters and if something goes wrong then that could be changed and then could become public,but only if there is any purpose in that and especially if you can't get what did you pay for by normal way.Also,I gave everyone knowledgeable advices and tell what could happens to them regardless no one before told me what should I keep eye on when I do business and with whom too.
Curiosity is the only thing what guides you to this discussion.If this isn't true you shouldn't be worry because some German cuemaker does lousy job on cues.Or,is it the reason because it is cheaper to send cues overseas????!!!!

The problem was because cuemaker thought that I am not well experienced and that I would not see his lousy job and cheap finish that he put quickly and that I would not find out that he is not the only guy who worked on my cue.
Also,he thought that I don't have some messages from our past comunication between two of us and he wanted to charge me even more after I started complain on his work.
He has also forgotten that he wrote me what he was doing on my cue,what kind of repair work he did and later I found out that nothing has been touched on that specific part of the cue and that there is an evidence for that.Not nothing,but he said that he made even more improvments that needed to be made on the cue,than he actually did.
So,unless you are not giving your cues to others than those two I mentioned before you should not have any problem as far as I know about their work.
