Video Encyclopedia of One Pocket (VEOP)

I am very happy to announce that after many months of hard work, Bob Jewett and I just finished up our new instructional video project: Video Encyclopedia of One Pocket (VEOP). Here's a trailer video that provides a good overview:

I will also be posting a collection of free excerpt clips over the next two weeks. VEOP is available now to stream or download, and we are also taking pre-orders for physical DVDs (to ship in late January or early February).

VEOP is a 5-volume series covering all the skills, knowledge, strategy, and moves you need to win at one-pocket (1P). It is a perfect set for a new player who wants to learn the game or a serious 1P player who wants to bring their game to the next level. VEOP covers all types of offensive and defensive shots and moves, the rules and how to take advantage of them, the break, game strategy, useful kicking and banking systems and references, end-game strategy, the up-table game, and much more. VEOP will help you become a smarter player, expand your repertoire of shots (in all games), learn how to use the right strategies based on the ball count, and win more games and matches. And the series includes countless example shots and moves by top pros from the best 1P matches of all time.

Here's a detailed outline of the entire series.

We hope many of you enjoy and benefit from VEOP. Please post reviews on this thread (good or bad) so other will know what you think. Thanks in advance!

Here's another free excerpt:

I didnt see the 3 balls on the spot shot of 1 rail bottom ball and draw back firm enough to land in front of the opposite side pocket. You get all 3 balls this way also.

Good idea. That would have been good to include, along with many other possible shots. But with a project like this, you need to draw the line somewhere, or else the project would be even more overwhelming to create. Ain't nobody got time for that. :)

If you want more, it is time for a little "investment." 🤓

Enjoy!

FYI, the VEOP physical DVDs are now shipping. If you previously placed a pre-order, the discs are in the mail. And if you were waiting for the DVDs to be available before ordering, your wait is over.

This was the last thing on my VEOP "Things to Do" list, so I am very happy the project is now completely done! It was worth it, but it was hard work over a long time.

Enjoy,
Dave

Received 5 disc set. Thank you. Will follow up. Books are good but there’s nothing like a good video. I’m looking forward to viewing/learning and taking it to the table.

I look forward to hearing what you think after you've had some time to watch and work with VEOP.

We haven’t gotten much feedback yet from VEOP customers. Is anybody else willing to post an honest review? We’re curious to know what people think.

Thanks.

Haven’t had a chance to sit and enjoy. As I begin to watch I’ll gladly comment. Thanks again for a quality disc set…..

Post 42 is quite good/important. The 3 rail kick is a must know.. I have been working on it. It turns the game around it keeps you alive. And the spotted balls. I like what I’m seeing before I bought the set.
