Hour long? Pat Fleming ought to file a DMCA notice to youtube. Clips of some games...ok..but whole matches..cmon your fekking with people's lifetime careers here.

I'm not posting videos, just informing (including Pat Fleming, if he visits this site, or has informers who do).

The vast majority of this stuff has been shown repeatedly on Canadian cable Sportsnet channels, and, I assume, in the U.S.also. The only thing that is new to me is Glass City.

I never meant to imply you were posting this. I know you are just telling people about this. I was just chiming in that I thought this posting of hour long videos is over the top and it really has a negative effect on accu-stats' ability to make money. Pat Fleming and crew are down to doing only the DCC and the US Open nowadays. If they were making great dough, maybe they would be in Reno 2x a year and other events like the US Open 1p. Its really sad that our greatest resource for seeing pro level pool with pro player commentary is being choked off by places like youtube.

Have you seen the setup it takes to film these matches? At the DCC they had one person working a huge TV type camera, another working the control booth, two people doing commentary and hundreds of yards of cabling as big as your wrist going everywhere. The production costs must be enormous. These videos do not move alot of volume. Pat Fleming probably on average moves less than 1k units on average per taped match. When you work in the costs involved, its no wonder they only do two events a year nowadays.

I looks like the person/company that posted all those matches is BCN (Billiard Blub Network) who as far as I know, owns the rights to the content that it put up on you tube (but I could be wrong!)

yeah like the golf channel, a billiard channel, and a poker channel too, i'd have 4 flat screen TV's in my TV room on the wall, the billiard channel, poker and 2 extra ones, that would be great.

wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this couldnt have came at a better time for me, these links, i'm still in germany and finished all my DVD's and the snooker is finished, yesterday i went to the local billiard supply store and they loaned me a video of some local german guys-I know why Ralf came to America, these guys were B players on the video.Anyways I have nothing to watch and then this thread popped up TODAY, wow what a score for me, my back hurts to bad for me to play today and i'm stuck in the room. Now I'm happy!!!!, I didnt know you could post 1 hour videos, this is the future of TV wether the producers like it or not
