Had a couple of requests from people to see my cue action (grip, etc) so here's a quick vid of me practicing line up, the most common form of snooker practice.
The first time I ever picked up a cue was roughly 3 years ago and my highest break in a match is 113. The last few months I've been playing full time, want to become a proffessional.
Would like to hear your thoughts on my stroke and in what ways it differs to a pool players. My first video on youtube so be kind and thumb it up :grin-square:

nice...you stay down on the shots over the cue and move the cue ball good...shows you put a lot of time into your game and its paying off

A good job on your first video. Thanks for posting it. I'll reply to your PM in a little while.

I love how you approach every shot in the same manner and your stroke rhythm and speed are great! A thought that came to mind, and maybe it's different for snooker players, but I've always believed if you are that intense and serious over every shot you will wear yourself out, especially in practice. When I watch Ronnie O'Sullivan he seems relaxed and like he's having fun. Great shooting!

Very nice. Very little head motion during the shot, and you keep your body square.

Keep practicing, and I'm sure we'll see you on TV, and not just UTube!

Yeah, I agree. I used to take a bit too long down on the shot, I think it's important to have a nice rythm round the table and down on the shot, especially in high pressure situations. If you can get yourself into that bubble of concentration where the only thing in your mind is the balls, pressure has little effect. You can become a machine.

OMG. I thought I was the only one to do this. You see, yesterday was the 1st time I taped myself and just before and during my forward swing my head goes down minutely. So does yours, as does your whole upper body. Otherwise, you have good fundamentals.
