Video of my 11-yr. old son breaking on YouTube

Your son has lots of potential.

It takes a lot of effort to become successful at pool, more than most are willing to give. The truth is that is probably a good thing.

I've read the entire thread. Leave the career direction to mom and let the young man have fun playing pool.

He does look like a very big 11 year old and his break is very good. He could improve his break even more but currently he breaks a little better than most players and that's saying something.

You should consider getting him into another school during the summer if he makes good grades during the upcoming spring session, like the one Stevie Moore took with Stan Shuffett, (Foundation Course).

A couple of days in there and he will have a lifetime of drills and fundamentals to work on.

Motivation

Tell him he will get a dollar everytime he breaks good, pockets a ball, and parks whitey in the middle of the table.

Tell him he will then get $2 more if he runs the table.

Believe me, he will be motivated.

With apologies to Paul Newman, may he RIP:

"Man, that kid has a SLEDGEHAMMER break!" :D

Pay to play!

Tell him he will get a dollar everytime he breaks good, pockets a ball, and parks whitey in the middle of the table.

Tell him he will then get $2 more if he runs the table.

Believe me, he will be motivated.

That's a really terrific idea. The kid loves money! I'm trying that one this weekend. :D

Awesome fundamentals. Wish I had "learned" how to play the right way.

Tell him to keep up the good work. He can become a champion one day.

You can see how serious he is,he is a big boy also, thats were all the power is coming from,if he wants to be a pool player, you sure will have a great one on your hands, that my friends is a no flaws pure stroke, something that cant be teached, good luck to u and ur son,if he wants to play, iam sure we will be seeing alot of him soon!
