Videographer gripe

Streamer do not have equipment, or staff of ESPN.

Or major Sports networks.
Bingo.

If people pay attention … pro sports have many, many, many cameras at many angles, including mobile, and a central control booth that all the cameras feed into.

Then, and only then, is the televised view chosen … and that control booth will be staffed by people well versed in the broadcast sport as this allows a tad of anticipatory talent to the mix.

As an example of player technique information, in post #7 at 36 seconds of the video there is a great shot of the break stroke, then at 41 seconds it switches to a different angle, and at 43 seconds it goes to another angle. I think that sequence is beautiful but I also think in subsequent breaks they could give an extended view of one of those angles with a little technical detail of form and performance.
Yes, it was beautiful to look at and much better than so many movies that have so many cuts to hide the poor choreography. I don't think it was bad but I would like to see the full motion of Martinez's break stroke too, with the swashbuckly brandishing of the cue on follow through. He's got to be the most entertaining player I've ever watched and he's in human highlight reel mode here.

There's a shot of the chalk cube on the rail between racks that looks like an impressionist still life painting. And the chance in Bustie's facial expression as the match goes on is a nice touch. As far as the cinematography, that is probably the best match I've seen. About the only thing I'd change is to make the 5 ball purple so it's easier to see.

I watched a world cup 3c match (2017) yesterday and as the camera panned around the room, there was a row of tables with folks in Officials' dress sitting behind MacBooks...about 10 MacBooks.

Pool can't compete.

I was watching Old One Pocket Stream from Hard Times Sacramento.

Poor lighting,0ne static camera, comintary was 🤮.

Sure the stream could have been great with million 💰 in light, soft boxes, 3 or 5 cameras, and top Audi system.

Friend husband was part of CBS Sports. There equipment for NFL Game took 3 or 4 Semis for One Sunday game. Plus many hours to set up, and make right.
