videos with my sponsor, Kamui Tips

I enjoy all of your videos and wish you the best in the future. It looks bright! (I hope you have a good pair of sunglasses).

Dave
thanks! lol actually I only wear my sunglasses at night ......so I can keep track of the visions in my eyes. So I can see the light that's right before my eyes.......don't mess around with a guy in shades.....oohhhhh nooo.

tip difference

It's great to see a sponsor supporting such a talent as yourself. If you discover or find out the difference between the NEW Kamui tips and the previous Kamui tips, I would love to know.

hey Joey

the new Kamui blacks won't be out until mid august. they have improved humidity resistance, and increased durability and elasticity gives it less mushrooming. higher porosity gives it an ability to hold more chalk and last longer. the most exciting thing about the black Kamui tip I'm using is it plays the same every day. I noticed with other tips I would have to adjust to the hardness each week as they mushroomed and hardened, and if you're playing 8 hours a day that's a lot of mushrooming!

Nice shooting. I enjoy watching these kinds of videos, but they always remind me how pathetic I really play.

Whats the difference between the New line of Kamui's that are to be released and the 'Old' Kamui II? Does it mean the old ones are discontinued? Or is the new Line a different tip in addition to the current line (Kamui II and Black)?

PS How do the videos show that the tip is reason for being able to do those shots? When will I have to use these one handed shots in a game? Can you show us examples on how the Kamui is different or superior than other tips? Or examples in a real game, such as gaining position using extreme english that the kamui can produce, other than the shots on the website? Or why I should switch to the Kamui Brand?

No offense meant but........ who are you?

Easy question...his name is Jesse A. something like that. He shoots one handed behind his back with his eyes closed during his REM sleep. Rumor is he knows a guy and he's connected.

I watch his videos sometimes on youtube though, seems to be a pretty talented player. Not sure how he got sponsored though.

Connected to what?

What should a player expect when they are sponsored by a tip manufacturer? A free tip every 6 months?

Not quite 'Made' just 'Connected' mob stuff for the extra gangster shots he pulls off. I hear he is working on his jump kick draw stroke as we type.

It's prob the standard sponsorship type deal, put him in tourneys, set up exhibitions, work trade shows, travel, couple shillings here and there, and all the silky smooth new black kamuiis you can shake a stick at.

Woo-Hah!

I am not sure which is more scarey - Jesse connected to the mob or Dr Cue Tom Rossman connected to god.

These are all good questions, but the best way to see why we are so excited about kamui tips is to try one yourself. See if anyone at your usual pool hall has one and ask to hit a few balls. The difference for me is all in the feel and the experience of a tip that performs the same week after week without mushrooming or changing consistency.

he once ran out a rack with a live alligator as his cue

yeah! I heard he was 7ft tall and had a pet alligator that racked for him, and he shoots fireballs out of his....wait a sec! who are we talking about? ...this reminds me of a time when I beat Mike Massey just practicing and a year later I hear that I won $30k off him and ran 20 racks in a row! LOL

Great videos by a great player, and a helluva cool guy to boot!

This is my favorite video so far. Sick!!!!

thanks! but......is it true...I mean....I heard that.....someone once asked if your real name was Charles...and instead of answering you just stared at him until he exploded??!! ...then you roundhouse kicked Bruce Lee's entire family because he said he thought he might live longer than 10 seconds in a fight with you!!???

I just might jump off a bridge

Some of the shots you make are impossible for normal humans.
You'll represent Kamui well.
...personally,i was thinking of getting an EXTRA bridge grafted on
my left arm...

..uh..how are you at one hand push-ups?

make sure it's a low bridge

one-handed pushups are okay, but I like to do floating free-form pushups. it doesn't work the muscles as well, but it impresses the hell out of the ladies!

the zone

a friend of mine thinks he's figured out a way to get in the zone (dead stroke, pure stroke) for extended periods of time, like a month at a time. anyone think that's possible? I heard that Mosconi said he was in the zone for something like 16 years.
