Does anyone have a clue how many people tuned into live stream and/or TV? The US? UK? Germany? Asia? Etc.?
I agree, why did the Mosconi Cup clash at the same time as the UK Snooker Championships? It made no sense when you think the time zone difference is 5 hours or so.I watched the Snooker on TV,Internet for the Mosconi Cup,ITV4 darts on Justin TV & El Classico-Real V Barca.
Too much head tennis and El Classico got ditched. In between Snooker session breaks I had to wonder what if the top Snooker players had a go at the U.S pool and I thought even the players on the slide out of the top 16 would bash them up.Smaller tables, large buckets for pockets etc.
You obviously know nothing about cue sports to make a statement like this. Pool and snooker are two very different games; different rails, different table size and height, different pockets, DIFFERENT BALLS! There is a long learning curve to go from one game to the other. Even the very best snooker players (Higgins and O'Sullivan) would have ZERO chance playing pool with any top 25 player. Sure they might win some games and maybe the occasional match or two, but that's about it. It might take them years to master the game of pool. Same is true for pool players. The very best would have no chance playing snooker with the top players. Now if Efren or Alex had taken a few years to learn the game, they might have become competitive with the better players (Alex may be anyway). And that's the name of that tune!
