what do you think of these the shaftsshafts and the cortland is not really yellowed so they havnt seen alot of sun light in there time

all i did was wax them and the tad finish is starting to evaproate

the tad has one full shaft and the gina has 2 thinner shafts one shaft on the gina is dead nuts and one is out but both are orig! the tad is mildly out!

If the Gina says Eric Ericson on the opposite side of Ginacue these were the ebay cues everyone thought was a scam. Nice catch Bill
 
yes they were being sold as 2 brunswick cues. the seller contacted us and we told him they need to be authenticated , and the other cue was still unknown , we got them today and realized the second cue was tad!. the owner wanted some price feelers . he knew that if he kept them up under brunswick they would ony top out at 1800-2000 for both!

They wouldn't have topped out at that number if anyone had bid against me as I was well prepared to pay more for both. Be that as it may, if you want to sell the Gina PM me. I'm confused about the feeler thing, if anybody knows what they are worth it is you, what is it you are looking to feel?

Ditto, I was watching that TAD and was prepared to bid on the last day.

Me too and I was looking to bid my full number. I've been bugging everyone who I know that has a Titlist Domino to sell it to me and was excited to bid.
They both would have been fun auctions. Oh well.

That 2K for both wasn't going to happen.

That was going to be a great auction.
I'd imagine that everyone watching that auction knew it was a Tad and a Gina and they would have sold appropriately.

Agreed, there would have been a lot more action on those auctions than what was speculated.

The one doing the "speculating" has a dog in the race.

I was unsure on the Tad at first. It sure looked like a Tad, long butt cap and all, but I had never seen those rings and I wanted to throw a big bid on both cues so I wanted to be sure so I contacted Tate. Tate said for sure a Tad and I was all "for sure?". Tate went back in AZ records and found a pic of an identical (or very close) old Tad from FatBoys collection that Poohkiller had posted. I was ready to jump hard on both cues.

Man that Tate is really something. I really value his friendship and advice.

I sell on eBay for a living so I have a little more respect fpr the process than most people, but I never end auctions early for offers as I think it is unfair (and who knows where the auction will go if allowed to run?). You should have seen the offers (and demands) to end the auction early roll in when I sold the Gus box cue on eBay for 55K. I was VERY disappointed that the seller didn't let these 2 auctions run and I think its fair to say after reading some posts that the cues would have risen to true value.

you guys all know that if they were listed correctly they would have pulled real #s. but as brunswick they are only getting 10% of the watchers as if it said gina in the heading! I do not own the cues they are the rightful owners. just like the tad i bought on ebay yesterday it closed at 1475.! if it was marked as avintage tad it would sold much higher!now the right full owner and his daughter will get fair money now that it is what it is!

I am with you wholeheartidly. The auctions should not be allowed to be cancelled. If the owner does not feel like doing the necessary legwork he should NOT be rewarded. If the cues are what they are, believe me enough people will see them and they will get to respectful numbers. I also don't appreciate the guys who try to buy out the item from unsuspecting sellers. It's one thing if the auction runs to the end and they go cheap. Then everyone who "knows" has a shot. Don't get me started on the Mr. Nice guy who doesn't plan to buy but sticks his two cents in anyways....

Oh for sure the way they were listed the auction sure couldn't have been seen nearly as well as if they were named properly in the title. But I'm not sure all that exposure would have changed who the last 4 highest bidders were, and I would think all 4 of those people knew about the auction. Anyway its all speculation now.

Now that he he has the cues authenticated is the owner going to auction them again? That's fair. I didn't need to steal those cues but I really wanted to get a bid in on that Gina and I'd still love to (or buy it).
