Vote for anyone except Austin Murphy

I'm voting for the magician Efren Reyes. I have decades to watch Austin Murphy play. I want to see Efren while I still can.

I've been throwing all my votes Austin's way. Many of us want to see Efren play before he retires, but I'd like to see one kid's dream of actually playing him in an exhibition match come true.
 
Unbelievable. Bumpypickle scammed me! He bet me $100 bucks that Austin Murphy would play in the IPT matchup when he was way behind in votes and I took the bet!

The next thing I know he starts this thread and it looks like I'm out $100

Not only would it be a great match to watch, but Efren is who Austin would actually prefer to play. He could be hoping for softer competition like Gerda (where he very well could be the favorite) or someone else not at the very top, but instead he wants to play the very best.

At the very beginning he said that he would be happy to play anyone but was hoping that it would be Efren Reyes, Johnny Archer or Earl Strickland. One thing for sure is that nobody can ever claim this kid tries to duck anybody!

Look its not sour grapes, I voted for the kid 5 times today, which by my estimation is worse than telling people not to vote for him. I mean you don't put an m-16 in the hands of a 14 year old and ship him off to Iraq....well this will be pool's equivalent. Enjoy. I know I will.

I still say the same. Alot of this stemmes from the fact that young Austin is only 14. If this was Earl "The Pearl that just broke his stick" Strickland people would be so happy about the pearl possibly upsetting Bata (yea right:rolleyes: )

I'm willing to bet most men on this site that refuses to vote for Murphy is because he is only 14. The same ones wont vote for women because they are not 'worthy' enough. Bata is my favorite pool player of all time and I'd like to see Murphy upset him once just to prove all his fans here wrong.

The same guys that think like this started this thread and it has backfired on them and now Murphy has charged all the way from 4th to 1st over the past few days. Maybe he'll send you guys a thank you card for helping him out so much!:D
