14and1.com league operators are gearing up to head into our second season and fall leagues are forming now!

Can anyone knock John Downie off the 14and1.com National Crown? Can it be you? You have to play to find out!

Below is a list of current league operators with their contact info, get in touch with your local league operator to see when league starting dates are and don't get shut out!

Anyone can run a 14and1.com sanctioned league from their local room, drop me a PM if you want to get a league started in your area.

Possible SP League In The UK

Kev, Can you please PM me the details on how to apply for a league operator's package?

I should have a pretty good chance of setting up a league for individual players, since the club I'll be playing at only has 2 American Pool Tables, but they have got Simonis 760 and Centennial balls :thumbup:

PM sent Willie, we have leagues running on 2 tables, just stagger the match times, 2 matches at 7pm and 2 matches at 9pm for an 8 player league.

It's very early days at the moment, but once I'm going to England again in Oct, and so, I'll be able to speak with a room owner there and see about getting a place to live, etc :)

Once I get that sorted out, I'll be able to look into setting up a SP league in the new year, and to get as many players as possible :)

Is there a designated day/time of the week for the SP league matches or can this be left to the LO's choice? :), the reason being is that I have an ideal time of the week to play all league matches, that will allow more matches to be played and will also cause less hassle for players to be able to make it to their league match :)

Hi Jeff, thank you for your interest in playing in the league! I don't know what date Bob is getting his league started this fall but I am sure he will be glad to have another player!

Kevin,

I am currently trying to round up enough players to start a league in my area. I have 4 so far, but so many players either don't know the game or consider it too slow paced. I'm hoping to change their minds, but it looks like it may be a slow process.

One question that came up was: do we have to play all the matches at the same place(same table)?

If all 8 players have home tables and we wanted to set up a home and away schedule, would that be allowed?

I'll be in touch if I get more questions I can't answer.

Well, my 8-ball league is questionable....our old captain said he wasn't going to be captain so now he won't return calls to the league op. Our player who said he'd take over the job no longer has a valid phone so I haven't talked to either in a couple of weeks and we're supposed to start Monday night.

Life's so easy...I never understand why people complicate so much.

I tried to create a BCA team for Thursdays but wasn't able to muster enough support for that!

If those two fall through, I'd love to play straight in competition.

Hi Scott, 4 down and only 3 to go! You can certainly play on more than one location, you can certainly play on home tables at players homes. Thats a great idea!

We are going to start Next Monday, the 15th. I'm not sure if Bob has a full field. At first he did, then he didn't. I would send him an email. He is good about checking it. He wants to carry 12 and last I heard he was back to eleven. Glad to see the intrest. Hope to see you up this way.

When (if) I find out about Monday's Valley team, I'll contact Bob then. Hopefully it will be this weekend but nobody's returning phone calls.
