I have a full splice 1966 Viking cue, window model, inlays, full splice with veneers, a spliced handle, and writing under the wrap with the dates. Looking for something like this? It's a very early cue.

If you know Gordon, could you show him this? Strangely enough, it's built on a Palmer ebony handle from about 1965. The writing under the wrap is from 1968 - it was from a re-wrap, I assume it's from Gordon - and the inlays are of two different materials - notice the color differentiation. A very interesting cue . The handle is dead straight after 46 years and the shaft is pretty straight. All original except for the missing wrap.

Chris

Nice cue, sorta if you like that kinda thing. Lucky for you I might have a buyer, but he won't pay much.

Let me know.

Thanks Will and Kevin - I was hoping someone who was around Viking back then would recognize the writing and so forth. It sure was odd that they built this on a Palmer cue.

I bought this when I was on a quest to find Burton Spain Vikings. I know they exist, and according to Burton's memoirs, he made quite a few blanks for Gordon, but I couldn't find even one of them. I was totally shocked to find this cue, unwrap it to find an unmistakable Palmer handle/forearm, full splice technique.

Chris

Hello Gordon

Here's a brand new cue that was made for you.
PM me if you're interested.

Thanks,Mark

Chris

Spain Vikings ? Did you ever even see one? I want one.

This Palmer/Viking is the shizzle, you must have jumped when you saw it.

Kevin

Very likekly a Spain Viking

This cue was made in 1967 But who knows how long the blank used for it was in Gordon's possession.

That is too much. That's a Champion ? The window is in the forearm ? How cool (and original) is that? I have never seen that move, let alone a Spain/Viking. Thanks for showing, do you have moire pics?

Thanks again

Kevin,

It's a Deluxe Champion. I have been meaning to take some better pictures of it but here are some not so good pics.

That's too much!!!!

3 lucite windows, I've never seen such a thing. And with the probable Spain forearm, that's a showpiece.

That's 2 GREAT Vikings cues this thread inspired.

Thanks for the effort. I totally appreciate it and am glad to have seen your cue.
