Let me know what you have an how inexpensive you can sell them for, experimenting on some things. thanks

Mike 'acedonkeyace' Kennedy

I know there are units on e-bay and @ picone for $34.95, I am looking for some used ones that I can buy to make 5 or ten tips at a time. Let me know what to do and how to do it.

Thanks

mike

Can you please tell me what size bolt that is? I would like to make one of those to press 14mm tips. Another question...do the threads on the inside of the coupling cut into the sides of the tip when it is being squeezed flat inside the coupling?

Thanks for any info.

I would imagine it is a mm greater than what you need. After the press, you just unscrew one side, then screw the other side through to force it out if the tip is stuck. Hope that helps, John

I have one of the picone presses and one of Rocketcue's presses. They both work great. I believe rocket cue could maybe do something that could meet your needs to use with multiple tips.

This is a 3/4 inch set up. I've used it to press some 14 mm elk masters and it didn't any marks on the sides. The tips came of the coupling nut fine and easy so they didn't swell that much. The 3/4 leaves a good bit of room.
