This pic is from Tikkler's Jimmy Szamboti cue that he posted awhile ago. I think it is pretty much perfect.

This is EXACTLY what I meant by my 2nd example. It just doesn't get much classier than this!

Thanks a ton for the inputs thusfar, guys....I appreciate the opinions, and the pictures.

So far...the two that REALLY jump out at me are:

Maple, Green, Orange, Black

and

Maple, Black, Red, Black

Both sets look great...and I think I like both better than my first idea with the maple, blue, green, black.

Any more that "POP" like the two in bold above?? I know it's all a matter of personal taste...but the stark contrast thing is what I'm after....so those two are of particular interest to me. Others that provide the same extreme contrast would be great, if ya'll got more pics to share. I should be making a decision within the next week....so bring 'em on!!

Thanks again,

Rat

The Ebony is Natural, double black and Natural 4 veneer also.

Blue and Greys and Blacks are my FAV's....

but, here's a set for you to look at Mark :)

Best of luck with your decision ;)

Hey Rat.......who's building your next cue for you, and could I get first dibs on it??? :D :D ;) Hopefully your builder of choice is using Martins (western cues)veneers...that will help with the pop factor!!!

Wow....I shoulda asked this question a long time ago!!!!

Thanks again for all the inputs, ya'll. It's gonna be a harder decision than I thought.

Maple, green, orange, black

Maple, black, red, black

Maple, green, purple, black

Maple, blue, green, black

Those four are now in a dead heat........and each combo looks like what I'm after. That "electric" color and contrast is just incredible...and makes the ebony really stand out.

Thanks again, ya'll....and feel free to keep 'em coming! The more I know (and see), the more educated my choice will be.

Have a great weekend.

Mark
