its boring bc its easy. I guess you liked snipping through the clutter, it was like a hobby for you. now its just clean. or is it the products?
I was the guy that originally coined the popular tag line....."AZ Gold Memberships Cost < 10 Cents a Day."
Wow. Are you ever cool.
Now because I do that doesn't mean you have to do that.
Where as before when you added the Sig Line, you went as far as basically telling people that they were nothing but Cheap Asses and Low Lifes, and actually to the point of going out of your way to berate members who didn't spring for Gold.
Now, you're saying the opposite.
I'll leave my banner as is since I was the one that came up with the slogan......I think it's cool and it's just basic sales/marketing 101.
It is a shame I loved going onto the Sale forum and seeing and reading legitimate opinions and facts about the items. The real shame is 5-6 people ruined it all by bumping each other's items with the same ridiculous comments to stay on page one.writing " I can't believe this cue hasn't sold yet?" or " cheap price on such a hard to get cue "
It is comments like these that add no value to the item for sale and when you see the same group doing it over and over it is aggravating especially to those who are trying to sell something without playing games. Now everyone who played by the rules suffer while the guilty parties all jumped over to Facebook.

I like the Facebook groups better for buying and selling. They're just a simpler interface, easily searchable, and nobody can hide behind anonymity.
I'm okay with the Facebook groups except that the community is pretty invariably a bit more, shall we say, "low brow" than the folks on here. What I mean by that is the common denominator over there isn't as well-steeped in cue knowledge as most on AZ are, and in many cases you're especially not going to get far selling the higher end stuff on there. It's a newer thing so I suppose you can't expect all of the most knowledgeable people that are here to just jump straight over to selling there, but the culture difference is a bit shocking to me (and at times very humorous). There was a guy trying to move a Searing on there and he had everyone making fun of him for asking so much for a cue. Same thing with a guy getting ridiculed for asking what I thought was a really good price for a Black Boar. These guys had never heard of BB before so they roasted him. So I guess what I'm getting at is those groups are better for the low-end stuff in my opinion.
What groups do you use? I would like to join.
A lot of you know I've been a big promoter of paid memberships. In fact, I was the guy that originally coined the popular tag line....."AZ Gold Memberships Cost < 10 Cents a Day.".........Yup that was mine but do you see any gold plague next to my name any longer?
I still think the Forum deserves financial support but I can't bring myself to doing it until the owners revise this site's fonts, colors and informational arrangement & display......the place now makes you read and scan each and every line to see where a new thread begins versus where the G Damn instructions end.......threads aren't easily distinguished.....everything looks alike........there needs to be color distinction and utilization of different fonts to distinguish and separate information.....the design just sucks......and I've told them that and until they get off their ass and do something to fix this, I am financially boycotting the Forum. Don't they use the Forum or just sit on their asses and browse......this new format really is terrible.....some good, new features but the format really sucks......IMO.
Now because I do that doesn't mean you have to do that. But this joint has gone backwards fast in the website design aspect and until they recognize that this site needs to be revised to be more user/reader friendly, I am not donating another red cent to this place. That's just how I see it and I'll leave my banner as is since I was the one that came up with the slogan......I think it's cool and it's just basic sales/marketing 101....it's the lowest possibly stated cost obstacle to overcome. This still amounts to approx. $36/yr. but it sounds so much cheaper.......doesn't it?
