I have the McDermott golf cue. That is the first Meucci one I have ever seen. GL finding one.
 
NICE CUE, WAS THIS A PRODUCTION CUE FOR MEUCCI? I HAVE NEVER SEEN ONE LIKE THIS.:thumbup:
 
Well...

Found out some info. This is a one of one cue.
The white is ivory and the dimples on the ball
are real. It was sold 7-10 years ago. Now let's
sit back and hope the owner comes here and
notices this thread!
 
If my memory is correct the cue was made in 1986-87. The cue was never played with and I sold it to Dick Abbott in or around 2002-2003. I'm sure he knows where it's at now.

I spoke to Dick he sold it at least 5 years
ago and he does not know who he sold it
to :(
 
So, is this for sure a 1-of-1 cue? I swear, I saw one that a player had back in Chattanooga in the mid 90s....prob '95-'97ish. Looked just like this one from what I remember, except I don't remember a solid white wrap. :scratchhead:

Asked a handful cue makers about this cue.
They all say it is "not my style"
Someone tell me who has a style like this!!!;)
 
I bet Drexler would make this cue for you... It would be similar but better of course....

Indeed he will! Paul was the only person to even give me a quote on this. Unfortunately it is double my budget so this is going on the back burner for a little while until I can save up enough. Still would really like to find where this cue has been hiding though.:(
 
There was a vendor at the BCA national tourney in Vegas that had this cue. I believe it is owned by an Asian guy named Micheal.
 
Call Mike at Omega billiards. Since someone had it at one of the shows and Mike is at most shows, im sure he could track it down or atleast get you in touch with the vendor that has it.
