Looking for a ball marker for pool balls. Not the ones for snooker balls. Have seen them being available but from what I know, it is rather difficult to find. Please include your shipping price to Malaysia.

I'd like one too...I have one for 2 1/16" snooker balls, but finding one for 2 1/4" pool balls is tough. they're good to use with the magic rack if there's a ball on the rack after the break.

Exactly. The Taiwan ball markers allow us to adjust the angles should there be some awkward obstruction around the balls. Very useful especially when using the magic rack.

the auction isn't clear about what size ball they're for, but i suspect they're made for the smaller snooker balls not the american pool balls.

Bump for an item I've been hoping to find, too. One of the EPBF referees is on AZ, will try and contact him to find out where they get theirs.

Greetings from Switzerland, David.

update....

I've found a source of them for 2 1/4" pool balls. They're made overseas in China out of clear acrylic. They also have them for 2 1/16" snooker balls. Pretty cheap too, about $4 including shipping! They're also available on eBay from several sellers. They're pretty bad about describing which one is for which ball size. The only measurement they give is for the inside diameter, which by itself doesn't help. Anyways, the one with the 24.5mm diameter is for pool balls, and the one with the 25.7mm diameter is for snooker balls. Yes, counter intuitive that the smaller one is for the larger ball, but it's because of the height of the material and how they cut the radius in. I've bought both and verified it.

Thanks so much for these links! Been using one of these for months (the one for pool balls - thanks so much also for pointing out which is which, as this would really have confused me otherwise), it's absolutely perfect, and fairly priced.

If I'd change anything about it at all, it's so precisely machined that in order for the negative pressure to be released, it would need a groove (a ventilation, so to speak) at the bottom (the cloth side), as on new cloth, it may pull on the replaced ball unless on presses onto the device quite firmly. I can see now why referees with gloves (i.e. not just at pro Snooker on telly, same at e.g. the Eurotour and European Championships) put one finger on top of a ball before they pull away the plexiglass marker. :o
