toomanybugs said:He used the same joint screw as a McDermott and was a flat faced joint not a 5/16-14 (stainless screw into wood (shaft))...... If you have the picture of the butt and joint the tan micarda (SP?) is easy to identify with the purpleheart ring (hint in the butt end w/birdseye maple).
BTW, he is still making them in Renton at Harry's Pool hall. I forget how long the wait is, but they are very popular in that area of the woods and if you have the $1000.00 in hand they are a steal?
I would guess the shaft on ebay was made by Pettit, but was not for one of his sneaky pete's!![]()
