I have an older schmelke cue and I'm looking for a shaft. Not really sure about pin size maybe someone could help me out. It has a black collar and a larger pin, about 13 threads. This is a great cue that I've had for 10+ years looking to put back in play.

Try a pond shop I always find 2 or 3 in them .

lmao, pond is where I hide the easter eggs for the bad kids so they will get eaten by the giant gar I have in it.

I would think it is a 3/8 10 because my schmelke that i shoot with right now sounds similiar. Black collar with 3/8 10 pin. I would also suggest giving them a call, they can help, and from what I heard, they have great service as well. Good luck. No go on the sneaky pete?

They are called pawn shops. Every city has a least one if not more, a great place to start for any good used cue. My schmelke has a brass joint that has like a 7/16 x 24 thread . I really liked that cue until fruatration got the better of me one day and broke the shaft, tough cue cause it took three good wacks before it broke.

First find which pin you have on the Schmelke website. Look at pins under the cue making supplies. Also see if you can find your model cue in their cue section. The pin is probably 5/16-18tpi or 3/8-10tpi.
You can get a replacement from Schmelke direct or Billiards Warehouse has replacement maple shafts for $60 and laminated shafts for $90.

Dear Mr. pockets,
We are all aware what they are called, the previous posts were humor...
