Just bought a wasabi tip last night here in Chicago!!! I've been hitting balls for about three hours today and it's amazing!!! It cost me $25, I feel it's a bargain at that. There are definitly spots on the cueball I never thought I'd be able to cue the ball at...Like FOUR tips of english!!!! I heard about how well they hold chalk so for the first 35 minutes I never chalked, and NO MISCUES!!!! It gets my vote for product of the year...and thats after only 3 hours!!!!
Man I remember the Moori's from about 10 years ago(WHEN THEY WERE GOOD TIPS) and this WASABi tip puts it to SHAME!!! I would recommend this tip to anyone I know!!!

You guys can all poke fun at the name, but you're cheating your pool game by not listening to me.

4 tips of english? Are you using a 7mm tip? 4 tips is not possible with a ~13mm tip of average size, because that is the side of the cue ball while looking straight at it.

I highly doubt he broke out the measurements on his statement. To me, it was more of a statement for showing the extreme english he could accomplish with this tip.

Do you have a link to some info on these tips?

My elephant urine soaked Rutabaga layered tip doesn't mushroom... The down side is you can only get one tip of English. ;)

REPLICANT!!!

I have searched all over the internet for a link or more info. From what I understand these tips are handmade 100 at a time. There are only 100 of them available in the US right now. I know where to get them here in Chicago, i mean I know who I got the tip from.

I just did a search on MnM's recent posts... and I'm with matt on this one. I think MnM's account was hacked by the maker of Wasabi tips. lol.

You know there's only one way to tell.

I'll assemble my Voight-Kampff Machine. You prepare him for the barrage of questions about his mother & sexuality.

Twenty to thirty cross-referenced questions later & we'll know for sure.

Power up your plasma pistols, boys!

If you're serious. I want one. I'll screw off a couple bucks. I like to try new tips.

In the deep south they have an awesome tip called a Rodekeel. Seems they get several opossum's that have been hit by trucks...squirt a little Elmer's between 'em...then toss 'em back into the highway. After a few more trucks...you've a layered tip that holds chalk like magic...and you can put 6 tips of english on whitey!!! Maybe they are called Roadkill.:D

With information that sensitive, I'd be surprised if MnM is still alive.

I bought a Wasabi Tip about two weeks ago and it is the best tip that i have played with in a long long time. You don't have to chalk after every shot like you do on most of the tips now. If you have a chance to get your hands on some i would do it.

if MnM says these tips play great then i have no argument. i don't know him that well personally but i know of his extensive playability knowledge and game that let's just say is better than average. his info is the same that i've heard and i'm hoping to get my hands on one to try.
