I was wondering if anyone could tell me the names of some of the nicest Washington D.C. pool rooms. I will be up there on the 15-17 for a business trip.
Thanks,
Trey

Where will you be staying? Buffalo Billiards is a nice spot to start with, being the biggest and most popular one.

The only problem with Buffalo Billiards and other downtown DC rooms (other than Fast Eddie's, which only has crappie 8-foot tables) is that they aren't open during the day on weekdays. One possibility if you want to play during the day is Bailey's Irish Pub and Grill in Ballston Common Mall. It's an easy subway ride and they have 9-foot Diamonds that are well maintained.

Are those 9 footers at Baileys? I haven't played there in a couple years but thought they were 8 footers.

I just spent the last two weeks in DC. I like buffalo billiards by dupont circle. They have good equipment and a very good looking crowd.

You can also go up to the Adams Morgan area and play at Bedrock Billiards. It's a fantastic bar with only a few tables. But they are impecibly kept 9' GCs. Or hop on the Metro and go out a little bit to Champion Billiards.
