I will be in town this week if anyone wants to get together. I have had a great time every time and hope to again.

Going to the Capit Mall tomorrow day. Maybe pool at night. Anyone, Beetle? MikeM? Cory?

Sorry, I can't make it out this time….too much going on…If all works out, I hope to be based in Arizona soon and then maybe I can relearn how to play pool there!

Beetle, why Arizona? Is it because of work reasons or you want ao change of climate?

Just curious. I'm looking to move too, but I haven't found what feels "just right" quite yet. Exploring Florida, Vegas, Arizona, Carolinas, and Knoxville.

I have just interviewed today for a great job in southeastern Arizona, a place where I've wanted to live and eventually retire for some time. My partner and I are ready for a change and both psychologically ready to get out of Dodge!

We love the scenery and laid back attitude in the southwest US--In fact we had just taken a vacation there in August-September and had a great time.

The cost of living there is quite low, also, and I'm hoping to essentially have no mortgage with the equity from my current house. I'm sure that's a big consideration for you, too.

Cross your fingers that I get offered the job and then cross your fingers that we sell the house with a decent profit!

If you're ready to leave, I say go for it! Sure, it's going to be a lot of work in the short-term and lots of adjustments to be made, but I think it is worth it--otherwise you'll always wonder--what if?
