I have seen alot of people try to hustle pool ! Never in my life have i seen a purebread like this one . Dont know his real name , They call him "big daddy ". ? I have seen the guy shoot in leauge before and he just plays ok at best. I had a friend call me up and said he was getting ready to lock up with this dude at one of the local pool halls , HE said that he had never seen him before....... asked if i could come up so i did. TOLD him it was a steal .... the dudes not that good. lol They played 7 ahead for 500 . "BIG DADDY"? broke and ran the first 4 racks before my friend got a look at the table . Needless to say 7 ahead took 7 games and 500 from my buddy . ANYBODY KNOW THIS GUY ? LOOK OUT TOLEDO !!!!!!!

Doesn't sound like too much of a hustle. He just whooped your buddies butt.

If he lemoned up for a while and tried to jack the stakes, I could see it. Did he pull up after the first set or did your buddy?

He: told you he was gonna play somebody he did not know.
You: told him it was a steal.

How come I've never heard of this guy? I live here and not a peep. Are you sure he just didn't have a great day?
 
So who did he hustle?

Had he been laying off and had everyone believing he couldn't play?

Are you just upset that you gave some bad advice and your buddy lost a nickel?
 
sounds like kind of a long lemon.....gotta play in league for a few months, THEN spring the trap for $500?.......you can't buy a round of drinks for $500:grin:
