Woohoo! At long last, it was delivered today, by our buddy that does all the financing for Diamond tables. He has been gone since DCC picking up and setting up and delivering Diamonds all over the US, so we were kinda low on his priority list, as we were getting it gratis.

It's a Diamond 9 footer, the cloth is slow and the pockets are a titch generous at 4 9/16". We have lots of room all around it and the nice big Diamond light.

Last steps will be to decorate the walls and get a heater (converted our 3 car garage), although it is almost spring weather here. Today, we had the garage doors open until 7:30pm or so and it was still bearable.

Oh, and to get the big screen and stereo hooked up, and some stools. OK, actually nothing has been done except paint and carpet. :p But it's good enough to start playing on.

Will take pictures after I get the walls decorated - I have a lot of pool memorabilia and gadgets.

Gotta go shoot a few racks...... ;)

envy......nothing but pure envy.........sooner or later I will get a house.......and a table..........and many other things hehe

Congrats on the Table...they are gorgeous!!!

I love diamond tables. I'm not a fan of working on them but I love to play on them.

I want a table so bad it drives me nuts. And on top of that I'm looking at people's tables 3-4 times a day. Most of them having no business owning one.

Why do you not like to work on them??

I understand completely about wanting a table. I would love to have a
table at home.

Congrats Linda to you and Mike!

Those diamond tables are sweet, the ones in Reno are the first ones I ever played on. Nice that you got the matching light too. Many people focus on the table and don't pay attention to the lighting.

I have an old GCIII I plan to sell and once I get setup in my new place will have to get one of those diamonds.

mm diamondsssssssssssss

i love those, i mostly play on kim steeles (is that how you spell that? i dont think ive ever seen it spelled out lol). I have plans this year to move some poles around in my basement and slide a diamond in there as well...congrats

Have fun, and enjoy.

Nothing better than "walking by" the pool table for one thing or another, picking up the cue, and finding that an hour went by...

Actually one of the reasons I don't enjoy working on them is because most of the time I'm working on them in a bar. And by the time a bar calls us the table would probably work better if you stuck a stick of dynamite to it.

How do you get a table gratis?

Our friend is connected to Diamond and had this one in a bar but wasn't making money from it. Someone would keep stealing the cueball and no one would report it so he wasn't making money on it. We are naming his company as a sponsor and he gets free publicity while he stores it.

He has offered us a new Diamond Pro at a great price which we might take him up on.

Colin, I won't be able to match your view at all...just a garage, but it's our own little mecca now. ;)

congratulations.Diamond tables are enjoyable and u do not have to worry about your opponent getting lucky rolls.Cheers
