sort of pool related
my only child, tommy, 29 yrs old, is getting married this saturday
with all the things to get done for the wedding, people coming in from out of town and so forth,
after today, i'm not going to get ANY work done

it'll take me a day just to clean the epoxy and all the other gunk off of my hands!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And you are letting him!!! Man we need an intervention quick.
Oh well, wish him goodluck.

I saw Mike Webb's hands one time. He works with cue sticks, makes 'em, repairs 'em, et cetera. They looked terribly dry and had callouses in some areas and were peeling in others. A real workman's hands! :p

Congrats on the son's wedding!

What do you use to clean your hands? Do you use a special soap with lotion in it to soften and add moisture? Mike's hands look like they could hurt. :(

Yikes. Do you work with pool cues, like Mike Webb?

I imagine most cuemakers or cue mechanics experience rough hands.

You should try Philosophy's Amazing Grace lotion. My brother used mine, and he loves it. It helps if you have dry and/or rough hands. :)

Congrats on your Son's wedding. I just got married a month ago and it was a great time!! Hope everything turns our Perfect!

Congrats on the upcoming wedding. If my recent experience is any indication you may need to spend some extra time in the shop when it's over to make all those bills disappear

i'm getting off cheap, paying for the rehearsal dinner
compared to the wedding costs!

by the way , rehearsal dinner will be at MCDONALDS :D

The best cleaner

BAR NONE is the cleaner they have for Body Repairmen. It is a soft lotion like cleaner. I was brought up in a Body Shop. When I was 7, I was sweeping out over 15,000 sq ft for $.25 a week on Saturdays.

Go to an Auto Store, and see if they have it.

Well done Brent. Be happy that you're from Ohio and not Europe where you can get a beer at McDonalds :)
