Weird chalk related question

playing with Master blue

I tried oven drying some Master blue chalk. It made it go on more like their green chalk, seemingly a little drier. I thought it was maybe better. Then I left a piece on the back patio down here in the swamp in Louisiana. Super high humidity and after a month or two it had soaked up water like a sponge. It seems to go on in a thicker layer than before, goes on smoothly, but seems to come off easier. After careful consideration, I don't have a clue what any of this means in relationship to my pool game if anything!

I suspect that it would get all over the cue ball and cause issues but I have wondered about a little rosin on my tip. I also suspect the real solution to all of my tip issues is to move the tip back closer to center-ball where it belongs and quit trying to stretch the limits of a good hit. The layered tips are going away also when I get around to changing my own tips and I will play with a single layer tip. Unsure which one at the moment, probably a milk dud.

It may depend more on the humidity in your area.Here in Phoenix we are usually very dry, probably not an issue.I still like Master blue.
 
You might want to ask Tweeten what the difference is, since they make both Master and Triangle chalk. Master is my choice.

Actualy I do, triangle is good chalk, and not quite as messy as masters......(ON MY HOME TABLE) abroad, its masters all the way....
