IVE BEEN HOLDING BACK,BUT I CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE! Varney gets on here like hes some kind of god....but I hate to tell him,Ive seen his cues,and he is not a cuemaker...but rather a cue assembler!! Anyone can assemble a 8$ valley supreme house cue(WITH A HUGE CROTCH IN THE POINTS!)nice cues...whered you get the puke brown phenolic at...OldNeo perhaps???You 2 seem to be having marital problems together...did you beat him with your varney...varney???Maybe instead of getting onto threads from others selling your cues..and talking them up..maybe you should get your a** to work on the cues people on here have already paid for???or perhaps a refund on them.....I think 6months is enough time for a valley dont you??Get out of the smokey mountain shootout and get back on the job!But dont be offended,your not the only one....Dennis Searing is the most ridiculous idiot I know of,I know for a fact, an az member has been waiting 4 years for a cue.I think that cue has been made and sold at least 4 times over!!!Just wanted to say Mr.Varney...I believe your head is bigger than the hit of your cues...just get the people what they paid for,and stop being a showoff on here!!And as far as your cronies go,they can pee up a rope too!!Look ..I know it takes time to make a cue,but Im referring to a F/S,not a house cue conversion!I think the only thing thats getting beat around here,is peoples wallets!Oh by the way,do you or have you made any high end cues without the help of a house cue??didnt think so....so go ahead and bad rep. me,hell,ban me if they want to,but at least I can say I had the billiard balls to say what everyone has been thinking! This is inappropriate, IMO. It won't be locked because anyone is friends with anyone. It will be locked because it is inappropriate. If you don't care for a cuemaker, don't buy from them. If you have had a specific problem with a cuemaker, give the details and let everyone decide for themselves. If you can build a better mousetrap (or cue), build it and the world will beat a path to your door.

4 Years for possibly the best cue maker ever? Doesnt seem too long to me, I will buy his spot if he's not happy. $50 should be enough for buying the spot for "another terrible cue". If your going to call someone a REDICULIOUS IDIOT PLEASE SPELL IT CORRECTLY idiot.

Just wanted to quote this before he edited it again. Looks like somebody will be getting banned. Kevin Varney and Dennis Searing, like they are really two bad guys.:rolleyes: I'd pay good money to see you face to face with either one. I know for a fact you wouldn't talk like that in front of KV now that would be worthy of the TAR pit.:)
 
I find it funny how he tries to call someone out for spelling in another thread, then turns around and types words like "rediculious".

More on topic though, why the hell can't you or your "friends" just contact Varney about the status of the cues? Did you not ask for some sort of time frame when he started? If so, he should stick to his word. If he doesn't, make it public. The guy's given away sticks and offered to fix other cuemaker's work for free, which leads me to believe he is a class act, so surely he'll make this good with you. I find it also rather funny that you bash his cues and say that they're garbage, but apparently you or your "friends" ordered one anyway. If they're such trash, why did you get one to begin with? Genius move there, Einstein. :rolleyes:

I am not gonna defend KV, as he does a pretty good job of that himself, and he doesn't need help from me....but to take pot shots at Dennis, hidden within your rant on KV is nothing more than a cheap shot.

So your friend, the AZ member, has been waiting 4 years for a cue from Dennis....whoop-de-freakin'-do!!! I have been waiting 3 or 4 years myself...as have many others. His waiting list is longer than 4 years. Hell, I would wait 10 years for the opportunity to have Dennis build me a cue...( I hope I don't have to wait 10 years, Dennis...LoL ;) ). Why? Because Dennis has earned his reputation for building some of THE best playing, most meticulously crafted cues on the planet. He doesn't advertise, talk himself up, he barely has a website...he has earned this reputation from word of mouth, by players and collectors alike. He is extremely well respected amongst most all cuemakers...the guy is a freakin' genius!! He is all about pushing the envelope as far as he is humanly possible to push it.

I don't see you raggin' on Barry Szamboti, Bill Schick, Joel Hercek, Ron Haley, and the other top tier cuemakers who equally have long or even closed waiting lists...so why Dennis?

BTW...for the record....all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. I think Dennis deserves to take a break from the shop to fish, golf, or do whatever else he wants to. There has to be a balance between work and play, or else one's work can begin to suffer. Why shouldn't he be afforded the same consideration the rest of us of might enjoy?

You need to 'check' yourself, and be grateful for the seemingly short time you likely have left here.

Oh man me and my Varney version Valley been kicking some ass!!!! Thank you Kevin for ASSEMBLING the best hitting cue I had the pleasure of playing with and owning....... I look forward to owning much more of your assemble products :):):):)
