West Coast Challenge 1p free live stream

Deja Vous!

We got a morning match in progress with Dennis Orcullo and Santos Sambajon battling it out for a chance to play John Schmidt.

Current score is 1-1 in a race to 3. 10 Ball matches will also be streamed later tonight, after the one-pocket finals.

Schmidt seems to have the give-up/concession affliction.

Last weekend he faced Bustamante in the semifinals of the Cole Dickson 10-Ball event. Bustamante was on the hill and Schmidt had only 2 or 3 games. When John missed a shot early in the game (possibly fouling, although it wasn't visible to me if he did), he raked the balls (conceding the match).

Tonight in the semifinals of the West Coast Challenge 1-Pocket event, Orcollo was leading 2-0 in a race to 3, and John was ahead 1-0 in balls in the 3rd game. Dennis botched a shot, but about all he left for John was an extremely thin cut. John missed it, leaving 14 balls on the table, and raked them (conceding the match).

Although I don't like to see concessions like this, it's nice that John is competing again and doing well.

John spent his own money to buy in, paid for his own hotel, gas'ed up his bike, brought his own cue; doesn't have any sponsors to answer to... Sheesh, I think he can do whatever the heck he wants.

Yes, John can do whatever he wants and we have the right to disagree. You are free to do whatever you want and we are free to criticize.

Dennis double dipped Herchik in a 5 hour finals. I think it was 4-1, 3-0.

What an endurance test. I watched game 3 in the first set. It took about an hour. I was out after that. One pocket may be the most challenging game but it is not meant for spectators! :boring2:

If someone bought him in the Calcutta, he OWES IT to Them, for damn sure.

As Bieber said: "I wonder why" ? (he has no sponsors). Quite Obvious, I'd say.

Please Note: I have been following John's career since he was a snot-nosed kid.
His 14.1 game is something to be proud of. I was in-his-corner during the One-Pocket
Challenge ... until he "shit in his own mess kit" (so to speak).

Why would John do this? Temper tantrum? Even if he is mainly just hurting himself it doesn't make any sense

Busty dog an easy shot and Morra got on hill 10-5. Busty conceided the match. This is winner breaks.

I think Morra was up 8-0 at the beginning.

That is very odd. It is unlikely but not impossible to come back from that deficit. Morra by the way is a very good player and has shown a lot of improvement
