On a 29 inch butt .840 to 1.25 was pretty much standard. I have never measured one but today's cues as I see on tv look thinner. I played with Steve Miz's cue and as big as he was it had a pretty slim butt.
get folks to post what cue the have and what the butt diameter is for that cue. Kind of building a data base.

What's the butt diameter of a JFlowers Legends cue? I emailed JFlowers two months ago on this but no response.
I
Man i remember back in the mid 90's when i went to Steepleton's in Lexington Ky. They had a nice glass display with Meucci's. I wanted the 95-14 so bad but just didnt have the extra money. I always looked at that cue everytime i went in. Yep the Meucci original is the ST4 Hi Run. Big Butt and small joint. 1.3 but with a .820 joint. Hits great and straight as an arrow. The Meucci surprised me but I’ve never owned an Original. Only 95 series
Thanks!
