What a fine mess I have.....

The way I see it is this. If the guy didnt care about it when Smoke asked him repeatedly, didnt care about it when the original thread was posted, didnt care about it when PayPal ruled against him, and does not care about it two weeks or a month from now to respond to this thread I would say that this cue and this deal just does not mean much too him and therefore Smoke has wasted enough time on it and should do whatever the hell he wants with the golden moochie.

If the guy comes back in a reasonable time frame and asks for money or the cue then smack him on the pee pee for not communicating and do whatever he wants to put this sick ass horse of a deal out of its misery. If he doesnt then go give the cue away because Bigskyjake is right....you never know when you will be assaulted by black clad ninja's and need a young deadly karate master who is greatful for your kindness to come save you.

Too true, too true, ninjas are everywhere.......and they love to kill

If he insured the cue with Post Office he should of got $$ for the loss, right???? I know I insure for a little extra, because if it's loss the crap I have to go through is worth something. Maybe he already collected Postal Insurance $$????

Now, there is a thought.

What if he got paid out..... then he is triple dipping and coming out with a cue, a ins payout, and a pay out from me..

I really hope he replies.. it would make this whole thing eaiser...

Smoke <---- not puttng money on it

ok well,

first off I am rarely ever on this forum, im a student and also work so i never find time to browse the internet, one of my friends just told me about this thread saying people are bashing my name so i figured id come see what the hype is about.

well i put up the meucci for sale to the highest offer, he offered me $200 so I sold it and he paid me paypal right away. The cue was to be shipped internationally and I was unaware of the extremely high cost to ship the cue internationally so I had shipped it the cheapest way possible with no insurance.

After shipping the cue out he contacted me saying he never received it a little while after, I tried to look for the tracking and went to the post office but had no luck. By the time I saw that I got back to him saying I didn't have the tracking number paypal had refunded him his money. There was nothing I could really do so I was out the cue and paypal charged me about $20 for fees after refunding the money, how that worked I dont know.

After all that I just assumed that I got scammed. I didn't bother to bash his name on the forums because there was a slight chance he was telling the truth, which he was. But recently I have not received any emails about you receiving the cue, or any messages on this forum. If you want instead of the original $200 for the cue you can paypal me $150, that should cover for some of your fees and I'll just look past the fees I received, let me know what you think and I'll be back on this forum in a few hours.

You already made a bunch of assumptions. And you bashed him and he has a bad rep. Now the truth has come out and he did nothing wrong.
Hell if I got bashed and everyone was on your side I might not say anything either, if he cant find anything to prove his innocense.

You did your due diligence and got your money back. and are clearly ahead since you got the bulk of your money back and have the cue, and the karma for owning up to it. Dont perpetuate this saga and ruin the good karma by being impatient and get rid of the cue. You waited 4 months for a resolution it wont kill you to wait a little while and see if he responds to this.

also I have done business with varney which is why he said that I was an honest guy in the forum. also about a month ago I received a message in my inbox from Sprons and he had seen a thread I posted a while ago about my xbreaker for sale. I sold the cue to him, shipped it out internationally with tracking and insurance because I learned my lesson, he is quite happy with his purchase i believe.

Sorry Smoke. Looks like you are gonna have to deal with those Ninja's all by yourself.

Stay hard.

couple of points first...
Nobody "bashed" your name in this thread..... if that was a motivator for you to respond then why didnt it work months ago, when I was calling you out?

There arent any high fees to send to an APO....it is not an international rate.. you paid 9.95 to send it to me... I just sent a cue to Starkey a few weeks ago and spent like 12 bucks w/ tracking door to door....

How many PM's did you get from me during this whole ordeal??? you were responding to KV and not me... your actions, or lack there of, are the reasons I pushed the issue with paypal...

All in all this was just a stupid deal that went stupider as time went on.
Each of us did what we were suppossed to do (paying and shipping) but the lack of comunication from YOU caused the problems. Had you been in contact I would have listen to your side and most likley just wrote it of as a loss...

anywho.. the cue is junk right now...For future notice though.. next time you send a cue you might want to wrap it in something.. anything...just droping it in a soft pleather case is not going to protect it...

150 bones.. nah ... that thing is enroute back to you... One thing to consider I am floating between two citties right now so it is gonna take me a minute to get it back... CMR's are not as prevalent as Post Offiices are.. hell I dont even know where one is in Stuttgart.. but rest assured it will head back out to you at my first chance...

Ahh Dude... he did do something wrong....or better said he didnt do something right....

I never said I was going to give the cue away this weekend or anything....

I did a little digging and I happen to have a lil bit of email traffic on my partial PST file here at work ....

I'd say I was pretty easy going through the whole deal.... BTW the last message listed here was the last contact I had from Saad...

however I do have confirmation that he spoke with other memebers here regarding the deal as late as the 22nd of Jan...

Sorry I will check with the post office tomorrow. I broke my hand last week so I have been having a tough time getting things done. I will email you tomorrow sorry for the delay.

It must be backed up because of the holidays, let me know if you dont have the cue by the end of this week and I will further look into the situation.

EDIT to remove his private email addy

I wasnt saying anything good or bad, I didnt like where it was heading, wondering if he had insured the cue collected it and what not.
The truth came out and showed everyone as being good and honest.
All that speculation started to put a dark spin on a positive ending.

Here's an idea for you:
1. He got insurance $$ from Post Office....??...If he did, he got paid for the Cue Stick.
2. You've got a beat up Cue Stick...worth maybe $20....$20 your out?!?
.....Maybe things are already even???? That's if and only if he collected insurance $$ from Post Office.

Idea #2
1. Post Office doesn't pay him...Says Cue Stick was delivered.
2. Post Office still owes for damage to the Cue Stick.....How much??? Big question....Depends on damage. He needs to file a claim with them ASAP!
You could mention this to him...Might be way to get to a resolution.
3. He sends you a copy of receipt stating how much $$ the Post Office paid him. You minus that from what you owe him and sent him balance.
4. You keep Cue Stick for what your out to Pay Pal.

What do you think?? It's just an idea....both parties would have to agree to this.....It just might settle the problem.

We are actually talking out a fix right now....

thanks for all of the suggestions guys....

I will let you all know the end of it once we get there.
