I'm not paying $50 to watch a few matches I'm interested in...if I'm lucky enough they play on the TV table.

Usually I buy the weekend if its a strong field.

Where is the event being held? Also, have they ever had the event at Q Masters, place is huge with plenty of tables?
 
Where have you been RJ...living in a cave? LOL The event is at the Sheraton Waterside hotel in Norfolk VA...and duh, of course the tournament has been held at Q-Masters. It was there for many years when it was getting going. When it got bigger and more popular BB moved it to the Convention Center. You DO know that Barry owns Q-Masters, right?

The difference with Accu-Stats and Kozoom is that Pat doesnt have someone financing him and burning money at the cyclic rate. He actually has to survive on what the market will bear. Kozoom does good work. For what they spend they should. To expect anyone not intent on setting fire to large sums of money to do what they do is not realistic.

And in the case of the World Championships, that financer is a Sharia-law-based oil state monarchy that is also the richest country per capita in the world, whose goal is to buy world respectability in part through international sporting events.

Because of my location I would like to see it stay in VA. But, all things considered some type of licensing agreement seems it would be good for all. BB could still " own " the Open but would have none of the headaches associated with production. Whoever licenses it prob would be able to rest or it to former glory.
