What are the odds of a vintage 20 or more year old Meucci being warped?

I have a Meucci Sneaky Pete with the original shaft that I purchased in 1992 or 1993. It still rolls perfect (butt and shaft separate and together). The only thing changed on it was cutting the super long ferule down some on a lathe which firmed up the hit a bit. It has been in the trunk of my car many many times in the summer and winter. It still looks and plays great though it does have a few minor dings in the butt.

I'd be doing a great disservice to Meucci if I didn't mention that Chris Wood
won the '92 Canadian 9-ball championship with a Meucci sneaky pete.
When I saw it I told him it was going to be my next snooker cue.
...found Chris a McWorter.....had a snooker shaft by Paul Mottey fitted
to it by our best cue man, Hari Chaggaris.....
...and that's the cue Alex has won his snooker titles with.

Another Meucci sneaky in Detroit was often borrowed by many of us at the Rack...
...it played terrific.

I don't know the year my Meucci was made but I bought it used in the mid to late 80's if I recall. On the butt cap it is engraved "THE RIFLEMAN by meucci".

The cue is perfectly straight, butt & shaft.

That must be the one I heard about, that was blessed by Buddy Hall

I'm fairly certain that this was a line of cues. I'm almost sure it was never seen nor blessed by Cecil.

It has the original owner's name engraved in the forearm of the butt.

That's not a very good attitude, I've heard that Bob Meucci is very sensitive about criticism toward his cues

With that said, I'm putting the over / under on total number of Meucci's ever made at.....750,000
Total number of existing Meucci's straight together & apart..............................................000037

That would be like General Motors being sensitive about making quality vehicles.

I've only purchased one Meucci. I got it new and as soon as I recieved it, I regretted purchasing it. It was not worthy of billiards. Maybe a fancy broom handle, but that's about all I'd use it for.

I bought a really warped Meucci twenty years ago. This cue was new and was bent so bad it would not sit in a common wall rack. Today this cue is perfectly straight without anyone touching it.....you folks need cue buying lessons.:p

Huh? Jim I hope you are drinking at home and not at Felts.
Did you smoke pot?
It's legal here folks,don't panic.

I've owned a few different Meucci's over the years, the red dots I've never had a problem with, as long as you don't use it for a break cue. I have a 1998 PP-4 red dot shaft that's still as straight as can be.
Now the newer ones I would not have, Bob had it right with the red dots!
