I used to use terry cloth before microfiber became readily available. The only issue I can think of with terry is it sometimes leaves little pieces here and there. No biggie to pick those up. That said microfiber cloths should be washed before use. Otherwise they have a tendency to leave micro fiber dust behind. Take a new and dry micro fiber cloth and clean a cueball. You'll see what I mean.I agree.
I do the same but I do not use a microfiber.
I use a terrycloth towel.
Since I switch to Taom at home, the table stays remarkably clean.
To Trob: The 3 slates is simply saying I clean 1/2 of 1/3 per cloth side. In other words I turn the cloth over 6 times. Especially on a public table. Some need more than 1 cloth LOL!!
