Hi all. I am fairly new to billiards. I have however fallen in love with the game. I got lucky finding this AZ site and really enjoy it. I was just wondering if anyone here had any other favorites or suggestions of other sites to check out.. I really enjoy reading about pool and learning all I can.
Thanks

If you want just straight pool knowledge... how to hit a ball, apply spin, what's a foul and what's not, what happens when you jump a ball, tricks for banks and combos, position drills, etc...

Dr. Dave's site is the best in the business. Don't let the plain look fool you. It's got more information than any other pool site out there. He's got a DVD set that explains the living crap out of EVERYTHING in pool, and it's something I'd recommend to quickly jump your game from beginner to intermediate and maybe beyond. If you're broke, the information is all on his site if you have the patience to do a lot of reading.

There are also some great articles from Bob Jewett available.
Pool magazines have sort of died out, but the most useful instructional articles are still out there,
and this page has dozens of them:

There are some additional useful links on the sidebar too-
