What Brunswick model here.

Looks like it's missing the foot apron (3 pieces, which includes the ball storage tray), and at least one corner shield. The foot apron could be easily replaced with a single piece of poplar. The corner shields are typically sheet steel. Easy enough to fabricate, if you have a metal fab shop nearby.

$800 is a bit steep for this one. But, as you said, you should be able to get it cheaper.. I might suggest $500 or less.
I would imagine Classic Billiards has the missing parts.

If it needs new rubber, none of the currently available rubber will fit properly. You can either live with the non proper fit, or send the wooden rails away to have the bevel angle changed to properly fit the current Brunswick superspeed cushions. That’s roughly a 1500 job (including the new cushions).

True. There may be a mechanic in his area that has experience in doing this process which is necessary for modern K55 cushions to properly fit on all Brunswick tables prior to the Gold Crown III.

There's barely a pool table within 50 miles, You guys are making me nervous now LoL.

Nobody makes the proper cushions?
No. The old Monarch cushions that were installed on pre Gold Crown III tables were a different size than the modern K55 profile rubber available today. If it is installed without modifying the subrails, it could throw off the cushion height and the playing surface will shrink by a 1/4" on all sides.

Well dang! Though I'm not thrilled with that ideal would/will it still play pretty good? Probably wouldn't spring off the rails the same I guess

I going to look at the Brunswick hopefully Thursday and without laughing out loud what do you think about this Gandy? It's in the same area. I know it looks miserable but if it had new cloth and rubber what would it be?

Get the Brunswick Sport King. Sounds like the table was in a church so the original rubber might be good. I can't imagine a table getting a lot of play time in a church. Certainly not getting any real action in a church, if so that's my kind of church.

Nope. That’s why people are paying $1000 plus to change the angle.

Others are not bothering and new cushions are “good enough”.

Also of note that old rubber may still play great, and then you won’t have to worry about it.
Just wanted to clarify that there is more to a rail conversion/overhaul than merely changing the cushion bevel angle. Usually the entire subrail is cut off and replaced with butcher block poplar. If you just recut the bevel angle to get the cushion nose height correct then you will lose subrail depth, pocket facing area which reduces the pocket shelf, the play field dimensions will be off. Most of the Brunswick overhauls also include deleting the figure 8 nut plates and installing new rail mount bolt inserts. Same procedure for the pocket casting inserts.

We'll see when I get there but they offered to send a video of just how good the cushions still are so hopefully other than clothe I'll get years of use before anything needs touched

Subrails can simply have the faces shaved to the correct bevel without noticeable affects. It's not an extreme adjustment.

Yeah I was just pointing out that if folks are paying 1,000 to 1,500 bucks for professional rail work they would be getting a lot more than just the bevel angle adjustment.

It depends. I paid $1,500 for the rail work on my Gold Crown I. The bevel was adjusted and the subrails extended to accommodate 4.125" corners and 4.875" sides. The cost included new cushions (Diamond Black). If one were simply having the bevel adjusted and not having the subrails extended, $500 or so would be a fair price.

Havent got the other yet and this one just came up. There saying it's a one piece slate? Is this better than the Sport King
