especially on new brunswick tables

approx 4.75 corner pockets
i hit a shot that catches the corner point and it jingles and hangs

it seems to be to be an unusual thing
perhaps i am wrong

Stroke. On a 4.75" pocket table, you have enough pocket to "play different parts of the center", while still moving the ball around the table easily.

IF you are hitting points of the pocket on such a big pocket, your stroke is not accurate, and should be the first order of business to correct.

Sure, there are aspects to consider such as shelf, pocket angles, and such.. But 4.75" is massive. A nice clean stroke should treat such a table like you are playing on a barbox. If you don't have a nice clean stroke, then you are likely hitting the ball too firm anyways, which is gonna close up the pocket...

These unmissable pockets hang if you shoot 'em like they're unmissable.

My Professional Diamond does that real bad. I think the slate edge was not prepped right ...excess glue. The ball sometimes stops on the edge just before dropping.

I’d be curious what the pocket geometry is. Width of the mouth, width of the throat. Since you are the only owner of a new version Centennial, we need you👍

Likely your age :) The pockets at my pool hall are much smaller, and one table has 4" pockets
