I don't blame you, I like the Black cues from that era. By the way, I have never seen a silver forearm point veneer. Are you sure about that?

All the best,
WW

It may have been a gray or lighter shade of blue. It wasn't shiny silver, like in the metal. My memory may have faded a bit, too. :) It was almost 40 years ago, but I can still remember the day I got it and when I first played with it on a bar table in a place called "The Jelly Jar" in Edgemont, CA.

My number 1 most desired cue has been a Richard Black Silver Crown model. Ive wanted that cue since i was in college in the mid 80's.

After that a Gus Szamboti cue with propeller inlays.

Then any cue that i like from

Bert Schrager
TAD
Ginacue
Balabushka
PFD
Josey
AE
Espiritu

Those would be my collecting priorities.

I am getting to the age where i don't even dream of collecting
when i was younger i bought szamboti, balabushka and south wst cues

at first i played with them, until someone made a big offer then i always sold them

strangely enough i enjoyed hunting them down, for dennis glenn
i got him a bunch and i liked helping him

lately i have been buying Bob Owen cues to play with and collect

although I am not a serious collector,i tend to sell

but i get bob owen,Bob runde and Jerry rauenzahn

all are super players and beautiful

I also have a beautiful South west Cue,I can't decide whether to sell or keep it
after all these years you would think I would have dozens of them
that would have been smart
