What did the open pay last year?

Just watching the stream and saw a check that said $30.000, Which I assume is for first place. So I was curious as to what first place got paid last year and several years before. I know at one time it was $40.000, and I think early on it was as much as $50.000.


How much did Pepsi sponsor with? I thought that might add to the first place purse!

Any opinions?

They took 10k off the top to beef up the middle. Much better payouts this way.

Judging from the placement of the signage, Pepsi is not that big a sponsor. It's nice they are involved but I don't think they are anywhere near bankrolling this thing.
