love the posts..hate Negative of any kind..thats my take..

I like reading about the accomplishments of others, for it helps me to put my game in perspective(how am I doing, how am I progressing, etc). Learning about different strategies is another thing, like using an oversize CB or how to work different spots. Also some confirmation on the idea that many people have very different styles of play while still playing high level pool.

A little let down on the 'ask the pro' section, as there usually isn't much going on. I think there's been more pro interaction in the instructor and main forum sections.

Of course, the old stories are always a favorite among pretty much everybody. I'd like to see some future 'old stories' in the making. Dippy seems to be working on that part.

Would've been nicer if I had gotten into this whole pool thing back in SoCal! Not too many posters or big events here in Oregon.

Old hustling, gambling stories are my favorite.

CTE or any aiming system thread is the least likely to get clicked on by me.

I love hearing the hustling stories. I also enjoy the vast amount of knowledge shared here. So many knowledgeable individuals willing to help out.

That being said, I stay away from CTE threads.

There are THREE things that people will never agree on. Religion, Sports, and CTE.

I think it would be good if everyone had to use there real name so the cowards could not attack and then walk away IMHO

Great..so far...

CTE or Aiming is OUT...Wonderfull old Stories are in..And we should tell who we
really are...and the Pros need to have more imput..Very Interesting!!..I totally
agree at this point..Randy

Wish there was more wide spread publicity for this site, but that costs money, other than that I love the site and read it everyday, literally, it's on my phone and my computers home page, I think I might have a problem, lmao.

Banks- where at in Oregon are you?

Thanks!
Simon

It is way cool to meet (in real life)folks that you corispond with here.:D

It just sucks to see some of the good guys fade away because of the BS threads and the trolls that bring um!

The 14.1 forum is my favorite, especially when someone posts a video.

The for sale forum is cool to look through. I also like the billiard history forum.

There is sooo much I like that it is hard to list it all. Even the threads that don't interest me, I'm sure interest some other people so to say they shouldn't be here is not right.

The only thing I find frustrating is the search function. If I am looking for information on something in particular, it usually turns up anything with a couple of words in it. For example, I was looking for information on A.E. Schmidt pool tables and a whole bunch of threads came up with John Scmidts name in it.

All in all, very nice site and am very glad we have it.

My favorite thing is when the AZ detectives go to work and out the scammers like Chris Chance or when bad businessmen get exposed.

Least fave is when someone starts a thread that has a bunch of rules like who can post in it or what you can post about.

All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth!!!!!:)

Oh, and Wooden Cowboy's and Clowns totally Creep me out!!!!!!!:yikes::grin-devilish:

favorites: pool history, road stories, interesting items in for sale forum, live streams, witty, humorous responses

least favorites: NPR section (not sure why this is even here on az). Anything to do with CTE.

Best,

Best part - We have John Schmidt, Jay Helfert, Darren Appleton, Danny Harriman, Keith McCready, Charlie Bryant, Daryl Peach, Robb Saez, Karl Boyes, Ray Martin, Robin Bell, Cj Wiley, Steve Lipsky, Bobby Chamberlain, Danny Barouty, Mark Griffin, Grady Mathews, Billy Incardona, Melissa Herndon, Joey Aguzin, Steve Jennings, Marco Tschudi, Stu Mattana, Stan Shuffett, Dave Alciatore, Randy Goettlicher, Scott Lee, the list goes on and on - how can you not learn something new and valuable every time you log in to this forum?

Worst part - Personally, I wish Keith McCready would post more.
:)

I guess I like it all...except personal attacks. Those, I tend to ignore.
By personal attacks, I don't mean warnings about those who deal badly, but pure personal attacks...the root of those are often based on jealousy.

I even like aiming systems. I loved the thread about sighting along one side of your ferrule to the "spot" on the object ball...left for left cuts, right for right. Played with that a bit today, and darned if it didn't work. Now if only I could find & remain focused on the "spot" better.
