Buckhorn as cue material

To me, it always looks dirty. Given that..... on the right design, it would probably look good.
 
Well, you know what I think, but I'll post here anyway. I'm not a fan of it at all, in fact, I won't put it on one of my cues even if it would cost me a customer. To me, it looks dirty and I can't understand why somebody would take the time to pick out a gorgeous piece of wood and then ruin it with that stuff.

This of course is just my opinion and I'm sure that there are plenty out there that think it looks great.
 
i was going to fill out the survey,but you need more options.i can either take it or leave it.it does have a dirty look to it,but it goes well on some cues.hard to beat white though.

the buckhorn is very holey,but not at all weak as Nick said.it is very strong and resilient.

I have a Zylr on order, purpleheart with the buckhorn joint. Those joints hit great, and I like the grayish color a lot.
