What does titless mean?

Well, if I gotta let the cat outta the bag.

It was the last name of one of Willie Hoppes GrandFathers that risked his neck dangling a stick down off a cliff to save the President of the United States life. The President was gratefull but hard of hearing. One of his staff said he had to make sure to give the man the award for heroisim on his Cue. The President got confused (as many future Presidents have) and said this award is going to Titleist for his help with his remarkable Cue Stick.

"Titleist" is a brand name for golf equipment made by the Acushnet Company.

A "titlist" is someone who holds a competitive title. The brand name "Titlist" was chosen about 70 or 80 years ago by Brunswick for a line of pool cues.

Seems everyone but you knows exactly how to pronounce it.
Many even know how to spell it.

Say "Title list" 10 times really, really fast, then put a video on boobtube.

I just knew that ref was too old.

Once upon a time in America, before the term boob had any connection to
bosoms, Television was called the boob tube, or so I am told...
