Please forgive my ignorance but I have never seen a table like this. It looks to me like a bumper pool table without the bumpers. Does anyone know?

Earl has gone into the manufacturing end......
...there was very little money in finger extenders.

With two groups of reds and yellows and a black ball, I'm betting the game is a lot like 8 ball. It appears they have racked wrong since a ball is dead in either direction.

That's a 7-ball rack. 7-ball used to be on TV. I found it to be pointless but then I didn't care much for Bogus Ball either.

I suppose it's a way to get something like real pool into a small room.

Google, google, google.....

Here is the description on the Olhausen site of the table, which is called The Bantam: https://www.olhausenbilliards.com/bantam/

There they describe a game like 8-ball except the black ball wins any time it it pocketed on a good hit.
