what is every ones fav. hitting cue???

josh, you posted "hunter". Did you mean bobby hunter? I have one of his really expensive cues (silver venners, huge ivory points etc). Hits ok. His sticks are quite rare, just curious if it's the same 'hunter"

My favorite hitting cue is my Gina.
I have a fancy mottey, but is firewood compared to the Gina.
I wouldn't buy (to play with, collecting is something else) anything without an ivory joint.

don't like the hit of the tascarellas, southwests, capones or shicks I have hit with (BTW, I have hit many balls with many different above mentioned sticks). I wouldn't own any of those to play with, again collecting is something else. Infact, I wouldn't own a southwest except if it had the rare logo inlayed between the points, and then it would be just to put away.

my 2cents

It's real close among Josswest (older), Hercek, Black (older), White & Scruggs.

I want to no what every ones favorite hitting cue is. Mine would be my kenny murrell cue and a plain paul dayton cue. Don't care if it is production or custom if it hitt's great let me no. I just wonder what every one likes out there...

I tried quite a few cues until someone loaned me a Layani... now I have 3 soon to be 4.

Omega / DPK without a doubt. Tried Schon, Scruggs, Southwest, Mottey and others, always come back to the hit of the Omega.

Yes, I meant Bobby Hunter. I think his cues hit much better than good, but I do like the two ahead of that better. I also love the hit of a Tad, but the handles are always too big for me to really appreciate. Cognoscenti hits so good, as do southwest, and you get exactly what you put in to those cues. I like a cue that doesn't surprise me. Kind of like a race car- the harder you push it, the more intense you get, the better it performs with precision.

Capone or Josey... I cannot decide.. Both hit fantastic. I also am really fond of the hit of the Bluegrass cue... So many cues to own!! Would love to own one of each but I am married!! There goes that idea.;)

just more hot air!

Sherm

I am with you. I really like the hit of a John Madden Cue. I now play with my wife's (she lets me). And I am probably more than a little biased.

i like my friend's prather, has a really good feel to it, although ive never tried any of the bigger name cues.

I really like my Blackboar but don't use it every day...it's a treat when I do. My regular shooter is a Richard Harris (Bluegrass) which I also like a lot.
