What is the FASTEST growing thread ever?
What the MOST ENTERTAINING thread ever?
What is the FUNNIEST thread ever?
What is the CRAZIEST thread ever?
What thread do you REMEMBER being a CLASSIC?

I think it would be interesting to hear some stories about certain threads posted here.:)

Mine would definately be the Kristi Carter vs Varney thread, very entertaining.:D

I liked the one Blowfish was providing real-time commentary on for the WPC. We couldn't get it here in the States on TV, and it was being aired via Internet, but I couldn't figure out how to download the file to watch it on the Internet. So I just stayed glued to the thread throughout the whole tournament with Blowfish and other AzB-ers. It was fun! :D

Sweet, Sweet Marissa... I think that one was eventually locked and then removed - it was a Timberly Vs Marissa classic for the time vault.

The Missing Cog thread... I loved that one... it led to wanted posters being posted all over Chicago because the b**** never gave up the reward or said thank you after Azbilliards was instrumental in getting her cue returned... lol

Those are two of my favorites... then there was "Blackjack's Buzzkill" lol

The stolen Cognoscenti cue went for a long long time. What ever happened to that anyway??? Hmmmm........

Also, any thread with 8ballbernie in the I.p.t. section was a bit of entertainment. What ever happened to him?

I personally enjoyed the thread last week that kept getting bumped when the OP made a mistake and asked it to just go away. The OP asked who won Shane or Cory. Once the thread picked up steam - it rolled fast.

How the hell did you miss that thread? It was sticky for weeks and weeks ! lol :p :p :p

There was yelling...
there was blood...
guts...

the bombs bursting in air...

lol

and some snob loses her Cog, offers a reward, Eydie makes a post about it here, long story short, she got her friggin Cog back and refused to give the reward - and I think she sent the cops after the guy that returned it... he had bought it stolen (innocently) and took the big hit... anyway... the thread was locked, and they actually made posters about this woman and put them up all over Chicago... definitely, IMO, the most memorable thread in the history of this forum!

Yea didn't they remove it and tell us not to talk about it anymore? LOL

That thread was crazy!!!!

yes... they locked it, and removed the woman's personal info from the thread... it got ugly... they even posted where she played, where she worked, who she worked for, and dished out more dirt... lol it was a riot!

When I lurked the thread that got my nose open with regards to the forum cyber world was the "Billy Jo Trotter" piece. Both classic and funny.

The IPT forum was, IMHO, also similiar to an enormous thread which combined hope, humor, drama, and tradegy.

Personally I like the one going now about rating the all time best One Pocket players. When Grady popped up and called it a "disgrace" I was laughing my head off. Before anyone gets the wrong idea, notice I gave Grady big props for how he played, particularly in the 1980's when he was one of the best.

I think I'll save my lists for my book where they belong. I will say one thing about Billy and Grady. They both are illustrious gamblers in the pool world and have been forever. I first saw Grady in action against Ronnie in Norwalk in 1967, and then I witnessed Billy's memorable game with Bucktooth at the Stardust. And both have stayed in action throughout their careers.

The Sweet Marrissa religion thread was very good and got big really fast.

Jay Helfert's Global Warming thread was also good.

I like the name the movie threads too

I loved the NPR thread about whether a plane could take off from a giant treadmill belt. I read the whole thing during a really slow day at work and I couldn't decide if I should cry for humanity or giggle through the whole thing.

DELETED POST?!?! Mike Janis & Viking Cue tour???? posts: 330 views:9,423

Thats the longest thread that I could find.
