What is the best tool tip you can buy, that is relatively inexpensive?

I have tried them all and keep going back to the Willard's Shaper ... The Porper Shaper/Scuffer is very nice also ... They both last forever ...

For 3 bucks the sandpaper tip file is tough to beat and lasts a long time.

I need to buy a tool tip, but there are soooo many out there and I have no clue what in the world to get. My intructor recommended the "Ultimate Tool Tip," which runs for ~$15.00. You guys have experience so.... which one should I get that is not too expensive.

Thanks in advance.

A piece of 80 grit sandpaper :D .

I like the Q-file as well (like $10).

I just bought a Willard Tip Tool (Dime) off of ebay for $6.44 including shipping. Cheapest price I could find on the internet.

I buy mine locally too, only order things online I can't find elsewhere or order easily. OP asked about online which is why I gave out links.
I was saying that IMO buying locally is the cheapest way to go if they have what you are looking for. I was trying to suggest a route that IMO is best, and to put forth alternative to online shopping that may not have been considered.

Sweet, I haven't seen that one before, I will take a look at it. Where do you get it, can you buy it online, I could not find it.

Thanks.

You can get a Willard Tip shaper with a nickel radius or a dime radius. Same price for either.

It george shaper/taper is the best imo for about 20 bucks comes in a nice little leather case and will last for ever. JMO

Its George...cant go wrong. Pal Joey from Brianna Products is my choice, sharp like a tip-pik, flat as a tapper and has outperforms the others <I know cause I have almost all of them made in the last 25 yrs>
