Need to buy a tip pick, shaper/scuffer, cue case, maybe a cue, shaft cleaner, glove, talc, ect. Which website offers the best pricing?

Im thinking J&J cues is a good site, anyone else have any good sites?

Thanks in advance.

Contact Joe at Nielson's Billiards.. joerackem@aol.com

Give him a list of what you need, mention that you heard about him on AZBilliards, and he will give you the absolute lowest price that you will ever find, he will ship that day, and he will answer your emails even at 2am.. unparalleled customer service.

He also has an online eBay store.. Nielson's Billiards.. if you want to browse, but he can get you more than is on there and for even better prices.

I buy all of my accessories from seyberts, they have great prices and I get my order in about 3 days, from Michigan to Florida, that's pretty quick IMO.
maybe i worded that wrong, they arent slow but i have never been able to get them to ship something out same day even if i ordered first thing in the morning and it was a $800 cue. they WILL though if you pay extra. i just dont get that, i work in a retail bussiness and i get everything out same day if its ordered with enough time to have it boxed. i would never even think of charging extra just to ship it the same day.

I am completely on board with this statement in most aspects. However, I recently traded e-mails with Joe about a shaft that he is sending me and he said he is very very very busy with a lot of new changes to eBay. Normally, Joe is my guy for everything billiards and his customer service is legendary, but I think some place like www.poolndarts.com (the Mueller homepage) or www.ozonebilliards.com would be better right now just due to the fact that Joe already has a full plate. I really think both of the websites I've listed along with the other websites listed by others would be your best bet now.

Not trying to argue here, but I think I can remember only 1 time or so that they didn't get my order shipped that day, maybe I've gotten lucky.

I agree with regard to Ozone Billiards.. I used them for many things until I found Nielson's. If they have what you're looking for, they are great to work with. I just bought some tips from Joe this week, at 2am in fact Friday night.. he replied just as quickly as always. He has mentioned how busy he is, yet somehow continues to provide the same service as always.

Ozone typically can get items out same day, unless you need a tip change. For what it's worth, the tip change they did on my F02 turned out horribly.. glue coming out the sides, and they scratched up the ferrule pretty badly. They of course offered to fix it for free, no hassle, so you can't beat that. Often the only way to really know how well a company does business is to have a problem and see how it's handled. I had another problem with a tip breaking off a jump stick they sold me, and they immediately gave me a return shipping label and refunded my money no questions asked.. can't beat that! 30 day return policies are rare these days, especially with billiard products, so they definitely get my vote.

I also had the opportunity to work with them on a special order with Viking for a Predator shaft to match the F02.. they were exemplary and everything went well. Those folks truly know how to treat their customers.

We should have a sticky post for transaction reports with businesses.. In my opinion, stay away from BudgetCues.com

You may want to check www.hawleys.com also. They have a nice selection and their customer service is excellent.

I'll second this recommendation. Excellent customer service. I have spoken directly with the owner (I believe her name is Sharon, someone please correct me if I'm wrong) before, requesting a Predator shaft with a very specific weight and she made sure to find one for me as close to that weight as possible. Highly recommended.

Victorias Secret of course!

I recommend Seyberts and not Pooldawg. Pooldawg has some of the accessories priced higher than others. I purhcased one cue from Seyberts and one from Pooldawg. The one from Seyberts has a good packaging, bubble pad wrapping my cue, with tape outside, and then put in a box filled with those foam thingy. The one from Pooldawg has a bad packaging, only a few bubble pad wrapped as tubes stucked inside the box, which is not full, and after pulling out those tubes, I found my cue sitting lonely against the corner of the box unprotected.

Can't help you much with cue accessories but if you need table cloth or recovering supplies look us up.

A very close friend owns www.gobilliards.com. He'll do you right. joerackem because he's a poster here and www.poolndarts because they have been good to me since I started.. never a bad transaction after a hundred or so.
