I played for 20 hour straight yesterday...no breaks, except for potty breaks. From 6:00 A.M. Sunday morning until 2:00 A.M. Monday morning. The guy I was playing with was driving me crazy telling me how tired he was. Hell, I was just getting started. I would have played longer, had the place not closed down.
 
I started back around last Feb (when I joined here) and could go maybe an hour. Been working on my health, not drinking much and I can go maybe 4 hours now. I don't know if it'll get to be much more at my age, but I'm loving life and loving the game. I know there's a few folks here older than I am, and I really admire them sticking with the game.
 
I played for 11 hours straight a couple of weeks ago. Wasn't sore or tired when playing. But that night, I had to jump out of bed and walk around because my calf muscles were cramping up.
 
10 hours

I played for a little over 10 hours a couple of weeks ago. It was good, even though I did loose more then I won.

My pool buddy is 40 or so and by far the best player I am aware of between my hick town and Anchorage. We live about 50 miles apart and he is a teacher and came up for a while to Hicksville. He is a bachelor and his living room furniture consists of a 9' Brunswick and a big flat screen and one recliner!

We were playing on my old 9' Rebco and he was running 2 and 3 racks in our 8 Ball sets and got me in 10 Ball also. If he did not dry break a few times I doubt I would of won a game. It was not until the last 3 hours I finally started winning some 9 and 10 Ball sets.

Kind of backwards as I usually do my best against him the first 4 hours and I think he could go all day. Must be my 67 years catching me, but I usually shoot better when I play him.

Another friend comes over a couple times a week and we usually play about 4 hours.
 
You gust must be gettin GOOD!

Probably an hour, or so. But maybe that doesn't count, because the table is in my house. I take breaks whenever I want. :D

I don't have any desire to participate in marathon sessions.

Did 6pm to 3 am a few wks ago on a work night at my house. With "beverages".
Wife was pissed. "YOU GUYS PLAYED FOR 10 HOURS!!"
Of course I corrected her. It was only 9. :thumbup:
 
At my age 5 hours is all i have energy for.
But in the early 80's we started a 4 man 1 and 5 game (Chicago to some) on Friday night and finished on Sunday night non stop.
The coke (as in nose candy) ran out sometime Sunday morning so the last 6 or 7 hours was rough.
